OUR LOVE STORY

Eric and Chiquita met over 20 years ago at a family backyard BBQ. They were just 14 yrs old when Eric confidently approached Chiquita and did what he considered his “Good Macking” and they quickly became friends, bonding over a love for music and def comedy jam They grew very fond of each other and continued to hang out even though life would eventually lead them in separate directions.

Fast forward to May of 2019, Eric reached out to Chiquita through Facebook after finding her through a cousin.

Chiquita, initially not realizing who he was (due to his facebook name not being different) was completely caught off guard. Eric proceeded to inbox her and send her a picture of him. Being taken aback by how handsome he was, Chiquita slid back in his inbox and they began chatting and communicating quite frequently. Chiquita extended an invite to her Makeup launch party in Nashville that June and with the help of Chiquita’s daughter, Eric surprised Chiquita by showing up a few days early to help assist, in any way that he could. True Eric fashion. lol Eric arrived and it was almost as if they had never lost touch. It was as if their puppy reignited, and it was clear they had something special After continuing to spend time together, Eric knew that this was IT!!!!! He had found his good thing and wanted to make her his wife. After talking about life’s moments and where they saw themselves in the future. Eric took the proper approach to secure his future with Chiquita and on October 18th, 2019 Eric asked Chiquita to spend a couple of forever’s with him. As life would have it, Covid hit and the world shut down, causing their original wedding plans to be postponed. Still not giving up on having their special day, Eric and Chiquita chose to wed privately later on, but still have a wedding celebration with their close friends and family and here we are today.

First off we want to thank God for showing up and orchestrating this moment in our lives and for keeping both of us sane LOL. To our amazing family and friends who took the time out of your busy schedules to come and celebrate this momentous occasion with us. You could have been anywhere else but you chose to be here and present for us. For that we simply say “Thank you”.

To our amazing brothers Wes and Dee, you and your team showed up and showed out, as we knew you would. We could not do any of this without you. LITERALLY!!!!! We love y’all REAL BAD!
