Welcome to the forth round of Regional Sessions in EYP Sweden!

The overall theme for EYP Sweden’s National Selection Process will be: Shaping the future of Europe.

Europe are currently facing numerous challenges: For instance, about 6 million young people are unemployed in the EU and at the same time 36% of employers are having difficulties finding people with appropriate skills. Nearly 20% of the 15 year olds have poor reading skills and as many as 73 million adults are less educated or have no education at all. Far right parties are at their emergence and not to mention the climate threats we currently face.

The future of Europe is not only a matter of the union and of the european continent, but moreover a question about the future of the youth, about our future.

The future is in our hands, and if we don’t make a move, then who will?

The European future will be discussed under these four themes: RS North - Umeå: ”The Youth is Our Future” RS South - Malmö: ”A Difference Today, A Similarity Tomorrow” RS West - Göteborg: ”Assuming Ownership of Europe, Rediscovering Responsibility” RS East - Stockholm: ”Towards an Environmentally and Socially Sustainable Europe” Head organisers Daniel Wärestig and Arpine Prostian in North, Kristien Rosario in West and Jesper Thunström and Sofie Lungren in South as well as Angelica Arnqvist and Sara Jungeryd in Stockholm, are now looking for members to join their core organisers team.
