Hebbal is the northern endpoint of Bengaluru city. It was initially known for its beautiful Hebbal Lake and is now much better known for its circuitous flyovers connecting the Outer Ring Road and the Bellary Road.
This famous flyover built by Gammon India covers a length of 5.23 kilometers overall. On the other side though, the Hebbal Lake area is still acclaimed for its lovely parks, boating facilities and bird watching. With the presence of many IT companies, there has been an increase in the number of flats in Hebbal in RT Nagar and Sahakarnagar.
The Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) being located at very close quarters with Hebbal has added up to its popularity all the more. Another proposal by the Karnataka Government is that a six-lane elevated highway between Hebbal and BIAL is also underway and is expected to improve the area’s connectivity further more. Many custom-made projects and townships are being built near the flyover that includes the luxurious villas in Hebbal. With regards to Hebbal real estate, owing to BIAL again, the northern Bengaluru has been witnessing a slow and steady rise in capital values. According to Knight Frank (the famous global real estate consultant), the area is expected to see an average price appreciation of 94% in the next 5 years and it is also listed among the top ten Indian destinations to invest in.
