’harmonie de la mer qui vient se défaire sur le rivage, la limite entre deux milieux, liquide et solide, eau et terre, les vagues qui s’élancent avec hardiesse et qui s’émoussent contre le roc ou s’effacent sur les grains de sable.
Entendre la mélodie du ressac, les timbales de la houle qui résonnent dans les cavités des digues rocheuses ou les cimbales de l’écume retantissante autour d’un phare indiquant la sécurité d’un port d’attache. Loin de là, la dévastation d’une tempête qui outrepasse la limite naturelle et qui engendre la désolation sur le territoire conquis. L’homme peut-il être comme l’harmonie de la mer qui vient se reposer sur le rivage? ~ The harmony of the sea that comes to shed itself on the shore, the boundary between two environments, liquid and solid, water and land, the waves that boldly rush over only to be blunted in a spray of foam against the rock or to fade out on the grains of sand. To hear the melody of the surf, the timpani of the swell that resonates in the cavities of the rocky dikes or the resounding cymbals of the foam around a lighthouse indicating the safety of a port of registry.
