Naturally sophisticated design.

We are drawn to the natural world. It’s in our nature. And yet we live in cities and stare at walls. With its products, the label URBANATURE fills the gap in everyday life between city living and the longing for something more primal.

URBANATURE was founded in early 2013 and is a selection of product designer Jörg Brachmann’s ideas. His designs are inspired by a strong affini­ty with nature and a passion for cooking, and he has a real eye for the extraordinary. He turns his ideas into prototypes in his own studio on the outskirts of Leipzig, where he then perfects them before creating product series in his own workshops. In collaboration with regional craft specialists, he develops solutions that allow his products to be manufactured in high-quality. He uses wood from sustainable forests as well as recyclable materials – even for the packaging.

Produkte zwischen Stadt und Land Es zieht uns ins Grüne, das liegt in unserer Natur, doch wir wohnen in Städten und starren die Wand an. Das Label URBANATURE schließt mit seinen Produkten auch im Alltag die Lücke zwischen Stadtleben und der Sehnsucht nach dem Ursprünglichen.

Das Label URBANATURE – das sind die Ideen des Produktdesigners Jörg Brachmann.

Inspiriert durch die enge Bindung zur Natur, eine Leidenschaft fürs Kochen und ein Auge für das Besondere entstehen seine Entwürfe.

Im eigenen Studio am Stadtrand von Leipzig werden die Ideen als Prototyp realisiert und perfektioniert. In Zusammenarbeit mit regionalen Handwerksbetrieben werden Lösungen erarbeitet, die eine qualitativ hochwertige Herstellung der Produkte in Serie ermöglichen.

Verwendet werden Hölzer aus nachhaltiger Forstwirtschaft und recycelbaren Materialien, bis hin zur Verpackung.

Philosophie: Neue Produkte müssen Probleme lösen, mit Ausstrahlung, Witz und Charme.

Die Welt braucht keinen weiteren Pflanzkübel dachten wir, aber Einen, der etwas außergewöhnliches kann. Nun heißt es Grün wohin Sie wollen – durch fest montierte Rollen am Topfboden. Mit stabiler Rankhilfe und gleichzeitigem Griff außerhalb des Topfes aber dennoch nahe an der Topfmitte/ Wurzel. Für den Innen- und Außeneinsatz – durch verschließbaren Überlauf am Topfboden.
