Allen Cheng is a co-founder of PrepScholar. From founding, he led the product, test content, and content marketing teams. He has authored the world’s leading guides on college admissions and SAT/ACT preparation.

Fred Zhang is a co-founder of PrepScholar. He led the paid marketing, tutoring, and operations teams. Fred designed the smart diagnostic algorithms that use AI to understand student strengths and weaknesses.

Allen graduated from Harvard College summa cum laude in Chemistry and attended the Harvard/MIT MD-PhD program, before withdrawing to co-found PrepScholar.
