project notes
Project directive was to create a boardroom to seat 20 people with supporting perimeter seating. Street noise was of concern, so the client opted to move the Boardroom off the exterior glass and create pre-function overflow seating. Other requirements included additional conferencing spaces and a pre-function space to support any catering needs This was designed in an existing building for their high profile executives. Fit and finish needed to suit the executive feel as well as blend in with the existing building finishes. I am the lead designer on this project responsible for programming, schematic design, design development, renderings, and construction documentation, and will participate in the upcoming CA.

BOARDROOM

SPACE PLAN
The client was looking to liven up their workplace and explore space types that would encourage employees back into the office and increase utilization. I was the lead designer on the project responsible for programming, schematic design, space planning, design development and renderings, construction documentation and CA.

LEADERSHIP

project notes
Project goal was to create a community for the client’s leaders and executives to be able to work together or separately, as well as be easily accessible to the employees they worked with everyday. This included designing multiple executive offices, some conferencing spaces, open office and touchdown spaces. Additionally, they wanted to open up their existing break room and provide more access to daylight, a more welcoming pantry experience and space to serves as both a casual work setting or a rejuvenation space. Challenges included working with the existing building, located in downtown DC, and has elements that are historically preserved. I was involved in schematic design, space planning, design development construction documentation and CA. SPACE PLAN

project notes
This project was a unique request for our client; creating an Innovation Center at one of their existing office buildings. I worked with a Senior ID to do extensive programming sessions with the end user, as well as develop multiple studies and iterations of concept plans. I created all the content and would then review with the Senior ID. Unfortunately, the project was canceled before moving forward. .

AXONOMETRIC
project notes
Client’s intent was to fully remodel one floor of their existing space to create a ‘Club Hub’ floor. This floor would serve as a space to draw employees into the office with increased collaborative and social space, as well as enticing space types such as a host desk, an inviting, front-facing work cafe, and a tech help desk. My role in this project was to create the space plan (as shown on the right). I then reviewed with the Senior ID and client’s Design governance. I stepped back from this project due to workload, but was brought back on later to partner with fellow designers in creating the renderings.

PLAN A
project notes
Client requested to explore implementing the ‘Club Hub’ concept at a floor in one of their campus buildings. I space planned this floor with that concept in mind. A Senior ID reviewed my planning efforts and we also presented to the client’s Design Governance. Currently, they are still in the process of deciding how to move forward with the campus building.
project notes
This project was a full remodel and demise. The client was moving into this new space, so we did a full transformation to meet their expectations for a hybrid workplace. I inherited the project during Programming and took it through Space Planning, Design Development and Construction Documents and supported during CA.

PALETTE
project notes
This effort was part of a much larger project to re-design and add on to an existing ambulatory surgery center. There were multiple designers, architects, and technicians partnered to work on this project, that is currently in CA. I helped with various aspects including documentation, finish selection, some space planning and rendering. While another designer did the space plans for the Gift Shop, I worked on design development of the space as well as teaming with a fellow team member to complete the renderings. These were modeled in Sketchup and rendered in Enscape. I also helped with planning efforts in the Med Spa as well as the finish selection and design. Another designer completed the renderings for this space. I also helped with finish selections for as a whole and documentation for many areas of the building.

FLOOR PLAN - LEVEL 01
project notes
This is a unique and special project as it involves working on remodeling key areas in an eating disorder treatment facility. The facility has both outpatient and inpatient patients. One important component is expanding the number of patients they can treat. Additionally, we are working on key upgrades to help both the patients and staff’s daily lives., I am working with a Senior Designer on this project, and taking on a good portion of the workload including; planning, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation as we move further into design development. It has been a rewarding experience participating in all of the design meetings with the nurses, care managers and operations team at this facility as we work to design to better serve their needs as well as their patients’ needs.
