About The Seabegs Collection

This auction features a number of items from the personal collection of Dr. George Burden of Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Burden is the 31st Baron of Seabegs (Seybeggis), Stirlingshire, Scotland. An avid international traveler with involvement in both the Explorers Club and Royal Canadian Geographical Society, his collection features an array of objects and artifacts from around the world. Dr. Burden recently donated a significant collection of Roman Imperial and Byzantium coins to the Department of Classics, Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS.
