HOUSTON DYNAMO vs PORTLAND TIMBERS BBVA COMPASS STADIUM, Houston, Texas May 15, 2012 (WEEK 11, MLS Game #97) 7:30 p.m. CT (FS-Hou+/MultiM; ROOT NW) The Houston Dynamo home faithful don’t have to wait long for a second match at BBVA Compass Stadium, when their club plays host to the Portland Timbers on Tuesday night. The Dynamo made the grand opening of their new ground one to remember, a 1-0 win against D.C. United on Saturday afternoon. The Timbers return to action after a 10-day layoff, their last action a scoreless draw at home with the Columbus Crew. REFEREE: Chris Penso. United on Saturday afternoon. The Dynamo are tied for seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 11 points from 7 games. LAST MATCH  The opening of the newest MLS palace needed a touch of magic, and it came from Brad Davis. His left-footed blast from the center of the field, from all of 35 yards out, curled off the outstretched hand of D.C. goalkeeper Bill Hamid and into the net for the 67th-minute winner.  Dynamo head coach Dominic Kinnear made four changes to the team that lost 1-0 to the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena. Andre Hainault came into the back four for Corey Ashe, Je-Vaughn Watson entered the midfield for Luiz Camargo, and Will Bruin and Brian Ching started up top for Macoumba Kandji and Cam Weaver.  HOUSTON DYNAMO (4-4-2): Tally Hall - Andre Hainault, Geoff Cameron, Bobby Boswell, Jermaine Taylor Calen Carr (Colin Clark 71), Adam Moffat, Je-Vaughn Watson (Luiz Camargo 66), Brad Davis - Will Bruin, Brian Ching (Macoumba Kandji 84). TEAM NEWS  The victory snapped a five-game winless run for the Dynamo – and was their third 1-0 victory this season. They have won every match this year by that scoreline.  Davis scored his second goal of the season, his first since March 17. It was also his first goal from the run of play – he converted a penalty kick for a 1-0 win against San Jose.  “I got a ball from Andrew [Hainault] and turned. Usually, my option is to go out to Jermaine [Taylor] if I get closed down,” Davis said. “I’ve been striking the ball well during training this past week so I decided to give it a

chance and let it fly. When I did, I saw where it was going and knew he was going to get a touch. I just hoped he wouldn’t get enough.” Davis was one of four Dynamo originals – along with Brian Ching, Bobby Boswell and Geoff Cameron – who have been with the club since its move from San Jose for the start of the 2006 season. “I always say I don’t care who scores as long as they happen, but it was awesome that Brad did it, being one of the originals,” said defender Bobby Boswell. “I think deep down everyone wanted either Brad or [Brian Ching] to score. The fact that Brad scored and Chingy almost got on the board was awesome.” The Dynamo also recorded their first shutout in six matches, since the 1-0 win in San Jose. They had conceded eight goals over the previous five games. “I think the guys were trying to get me a goal but it’s a game of inches and the inches didn’t go my way tonight,” said Ching. “I should have put one away. We should have been cruising at the end but we got the shutout and got back to the way things are. It was a great job by our team, specifically our defense and Tally [Hall].” While Kinnear rang in the changes for the home opener, with a second match coming some 72 hours later (and third in less than a week), he said he likely make a number of changes to his team again for the Portland match. “We are going to change things up. It would be a crime to ask these guys to play 90 minutes again,” Kinnear said. “Unfortunately, you don’t get the chance to rest with a schedule like this.”

PORTLAND TIMBERS The Portland Timbers return to action following a 10-day break, their last match a scoreless draw with the Columbus Crew on May 5 at Jeld-Wen Field. The Timbers are in ninth place in the Western Conference with 8 points from 9 games. LAST MATCH  Goalkeepers and defense ruled the evening. Columbus goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum had six saves, including another diving effort off a Darlington Nagbe scorcher in the 83rd minute.  Timbers ‘keeper Troy Perkins, sporting a face shield after suffering a boot to the nose last weekend against Montreal, was credited with one save.  Timbers head coach John Spencer made four changes to the team that dropped a 2-0 decision to the Montréal Impact at Olympic Stadium. Mamadou Danso, Mike Chabala, Franck Songo'o and Rodney Wallace came into the side, in place of Steve Purdy, Eric Brunner, Steven Smith and Jorge Perlaza.  PORTLAND TIMBERS (4-4-2): Troy Perkins – Jack Jewsbury, Hanyer Mosquera, Mamadou Danso, Mike Chabala – Franck Songo'o (Eric Alexander 75), Lovel Palmer, Diego Chara, Rodney Wallace (Mike Fucito 82) – Kris Boyd, Darlington Nagbe. LAST MATCH  The Timbers were shut out for a second consecutive game, and the club hasn’t scored a goal since Kris Boyd netted in the 23rd minute of the 3-1 loss at the LA Galaxy on April 14. The lone goal in the win against Sporting KC on April 21 was an own goal.  “We’ve got to score goals,” Timbers head coach John Spencer said. “All we can do is create opportunities. And when you get them, score goals. It’s pretty simple. It’s not an Excel spreadsheet you’re looking at, it’s the game of soccer.”  It was a second clean sheet for the Timbers in three games, after going the opening six games of the season without one.  "I think the tempo of the game was relentless. We really went after them. There were times we made really bad decisions on our passes, so we got to learn from that,” said goalkeeper Troy Perkins. “But I think getting a clean sheet and a point is a good start.”  Jack Jewsbury moved to right back for the first time since joining the Timbers. Jewsbury did have experience at the position, having made 40 starts at the position while with Kansas City.  “It’s been awhile,” said Jewsbury. “Obviously this week in training, I worked out there a little bit so I got settled in. But it felt pretty good.”  Rodney Wallace started on the left side of midfield, the eighth player to start in the midfield this season for the Timbers.  “I’ve always said that we have unbelievable talent and dangerous guys going forward,” Jewsbury said. “And Franck [Songo’o] and Rodney brought a lot of energy on the wings and created some chances. Like I said before, we’re a deep, deep team, and when guys get their chances, hopefully they step up and make the most of it, and I think guys did that tonight.”  Futty Danso made his first start of the season after missing the opening eight matches following a broken foot suffered during preseason.  “It’s hard,” Danso said. “I held up to it, but toward the 89th minute, I started feeling it a little bit. I was feeling a little tired. I kept looking at the clock, but I knew it was five minutes that I had to give to the team.”  Darlington Nagbe moved back to partner Kris Boyd in attack, after making two starts in the midfield. Boyd had a Portland season-high six attempts at goal.

MLS GAME INFORMATION

“I feel like last game we did well up there,” Nagbe said. “We created a lot of chances, now we just have to put them away. I don’t think it’s been a struggle. We’ve been changing the lineups, and the last game, I think, we had a more successful game attacking-wise and creating chances.”

DYNAMO VS. PORTLAND – FIRST NIGHT GAME AT BBVA COMPASS STADIUM The Houston Dynamo (3‐3‐2; 11 points) will face the Portland Timbers (2‐5‐2; 8 points) on Tuesday in the first‐ever night game at BBVA Compass Stadium in downtown Houston. The Dynamo opened their new home in grand fashion on Saturday, with original Dynamo player Brad Davis producing a sensational game winner in the 67th minute for a 1‐0 win over D.C. United. Davis received a pass from Andre Hainault 35 yards from goal, took two touches to turn past Dwayne De Rosario, and then cracked a bending shot that made it past D.C. goalkeeper Bill Hamid, who could only get a hand on it before it hit the side of the net. Tuesday’s match with Portland is Houston’s third in seven days and is part of a stretch of four games in 11 days that will end Saturday at New England. The Timbers are led by head coach John Spencer, who was Dominic Kinnear’s assistant coach in Houston from 2006 to 2010 before taking over in Portland for its 2011 expansion season. Spencer led the Dynamo Reserves to a first place finish in 2008. Houston vs. Portland: The Dynamo won both games against the expansion Timbers in 2011. In the first meeting, Aug. 14 at Robertson Stadium, Adam Moffat cracked a stunning 38‐yard strike for the opening goal just three weeks after being traded by the Timbers. Ten minutes later, Brian Ching slotted home a feed from Brad Davis for the 2‐0 lead. Jack Jewsbury brought Portland a goal closer with a header in the 56th minute, but Houston held on for the win. In the return game Oct. 14 at Jeld‐Wen Field in Portland, Andre Hainault and Danny Cruz scored for the Dynamo in a key win that helped Houston’s playoff position and left Portland with a tough road to the playoffs. Moffat Trade: Last July, midfielder Adam Moffat was traded from Portland to Houston in exchange for defender Mike Chabala and midfielder Lovel Palmer. The trade appears useful for each club, as since the trade Moffat has appeared in 20 games for the Dynamo (19 starts), and tallied two goals and three assists. He also started all four 2011 playoff games. Palmer has appeared in 24 games (23 starts) with one assist and Chabala has appeared in 18 games (17 starts) with a goal and two assists for the Timbers.

DYNAMO NOTES

 BBVA Compass Stadium opener: The Dynamo opened the 13th soccer‐specific stadium in Major League Soccer on Saturday. On a gorgeous 82‐degree day in front of a sellout crowd of 22,039, the Dynamo honored past legends, including Wade Barrett, Pat Onstad, Eddie Robinson and Craig Waibel in a pregame ceremony that included the unveiling of 2006 and 2007 MLS Cup championship banners.

 Boswell Bicentennial: Bobby Bowell faced his former team D.C. United on Saturday for his 200th Major League Soccer appearance in his eight‐year career. The central defender has been very consistent in his career, averaging 27.4 games per season and has played every minute of every match in 2012. Boswell has played at least 23 games in each season and has played full time in 18 consecutive matches dating to Sept. 14, 2011 at Columbus.  A Quarter Century to Remember: Brad Davis’ sensational 30‐yard strike against D.C. United on Saturday was his 25th goal in all competitions with the Dynamo. Davis is the third Dynamo player to reach 25 goals, joining Brian Ching (64) and Dwayne De Rosario (32). It was Davis’ 37th MLS regular season goal.  D.C. Winless in Houston: With the 1‐0 win over D.C. United, the Dynamo have never lost to the Red and Black in Houston. The Dynamo are 6‐0‐1 all‐time against D.C. in Houston.  Offensive: The Dynamo outshot D.C. United 20‐4 for their most shots in a game this season. Houston set a franchise record with 27 shots vs. New England on April 17, 2011 at Robertson Stadium.  Davis Milestone: Brad Davis started against D.C. United on Saturday for his 150th MLS regular season start with the Dynamo. Davis is the franchise leader in regular season starts.  175 for Ching: Brian Ching started on Saturday vs. United for his 175th appearance for the Dynamo in all competitions. He is the fourth Dynamo player to reach 175 (Brad Davis, Brian Mullan, Corey Ashe).  Cameron the Ironman: Geoff Cameron has started and played full time in 38 consecutive matches (playoffs included), the most among Houston field players. Cameron has played 3,396 consecutive minutes in MLS play (playoffs included), since he did not play on May 4, 2011 vs. Colorado. Goalkeeper Tally Hall leads all players with 42 consecutive starts. Brad Davis had a streak of 45 consecutive starts broken at Chicago on April 15 due to a left calf strain.  Lineup Shuffle in New York: Faced with the task of keeping players fresh at the start of a stretch of four games in 11 days, Dominic Kinnear made several changes to his lineup against New York. Calen Carr, Macoumba Kandji and Cam Weaver each made their first start of the season and regular starters Will Bruin, Brian Ching and Andre Hainault rested. Midfielder Alex Dixon also made his first appearance of the season as a second half substitute.  Boswell Milestone: Bobby Boswell’s start at New York on Wednesday was his 150th Dynamo start in all competitions. He is the fifth Dynamo player to start 150 (Brad Davis, Pat Onstad, Brian Mullan, Brian Ching).  Corey Ashe made his 175th appearance for the Dynamo in all competitions at D.C. on April 28. He is the third Dynamo player to reach 175 appearances in all competitions (Brad Davis, Brian Mullan).  Brian Ching’s start against D.C. United on April 28 was his 150th start in all competitions for Houston to become the fourth Dynamo player to make 150 starts (Brad Davis, Pat Onstad, Brian Mullan).  Will Bruin did not start at New York, but entered as a substitute in the second half for a chance to score in his fourth consecutive game. As the Dynamo were held scoreless, Bruin missed a chance to before the first‐ever Dynamo player to score in four consecutive games. By scoring in the previous three games, Bruin marked the fifth time a Dynamo player has scored in three consecutive games (Bruin 2012, Ching 2006, 2008; Joseph Ngwenya 2007; Stuart Holden 2009).

 A Hundred for Hainault: Andre Hainault made his 100th Dynamo appearance in all competitions on April 21 at Columbus, becoming the 15th player to reach 100 appearances in franchise history.  Adam Moffat turns 26: Tuesday is Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat’s 26th birthday.  The three goals allowed by the Dynamo on April 28 at D.C. United marked the first time Houston has allowed three goals in a game since Sept. 10, 2011, a 3‐0 loss at Sporting Kansas City. The Dynamo went 15 games without allowing three goals in that stretch.  Possession: Despite playing their first seven games on the road, the Dynamo have won the possession battle in six of eight games on the season and had slim disadvantages in the others. Houston had a 56‐44 % advantage vs. D.C., 53% possession at New York, 54% at D.C., a slim 49‐51% disadvantage at Columbus, 55% at Chicago, 56% at Seattle, a narrow disadvantage (48‐52%) at San Jose, and 53% at Chivas USA.  First Road Win of 2012: Houston’s 1‐0 win over Chivas USA erased bad memories of the 2011 road schedule. It took Houston 16 games to record its first road win of the 2011 campaign. After a 0‐6‐9 start, the Dynamo defeated FC Dallas 1‐0 at Pizza Hut Park on September 24.  Clutch: Brian Ching’s equalizer in the 81st minute at Columbus and Andre Hainault’s game‐winner two minutes into stoppage time at Chivas USA were reminiscent of 2011 for the Dynamo. Last year, Houston scored 14 goals in the final 15 minutes of games, second best in MLS (Seattle).  Six years after the club’s first match on April 2, 2006, only two players remain on the Dynamo roster: Brian Ching and Brad Davis. Defender Eddie Robinson retired in January and joined the front office as an assistant coach with the team’s Youth Academy and as a color analyst on TV broadcasts. UP NEXT: DYNAMO COMPLETE BUSY STRETCH WITH SATURDAY GAME AT NEW ENGLAND After two home games, the Dynamo return to the road on Saturday at New England. The match with the Revolution will complete a stretch of four games in 11 days for the Dynamo. HEAD COACH JOHN SPENCER Appointed the first head coach in the club’s MLS history on Aug. 10, 2010, John Spencer completed his first season as head coach of the 2011 Portland Timbers by guiding the team to the brink of the MLS Cup playoffs. Overall, he has record of 13-19-11 as the head coach of the Timbers. A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Spencer led the Timbers through a successful opening MLS campaign, earning a 9-5-3 record at home - tied for third-best in the league - and nearly clinching a spot in the playoffs. The third-youngest head coach in MLS for the 2011 season, Spencer helped one of the league’s youngest rosters navigate the rigors of its first 34-game regular season while staying competitive in the Western Conference. Under Spencer’s tutelage, the Timbers became the first MLS expansion club to win their first five home games, and the first team to begin its home season with three straight wins since 1996. Portland’s 11 wins in 2011 ranks tied for fourth all-time among expansion teams for wins in a season. Prior to joining the Timbers, Spencer served as an assistant coach for the Houston Dynamo under head coach Dominic Kinnear for nearly five seasons (2006-2010). He helped lead the Dynamo to back-toback MLS Cup championships in 2006 and 2007 as well as four consecutive playoff appearances. From 2006-08, Spencer also coached the Dynamo Reserves, guiding Houston’s reserve squad to the 2008 MLS Reserve Division championship. During an 18-year playing career, Spencer suited up for such noted English clubs as Chelsea, Everton and Queens Park Rangers, and Scotland’s Glasgow Rangers. As a striker, he most notably amassed 43 goals with English-power Chelsea from 1992-96. In MLS, Spencer starred for the Colorado Rapids from 2001-04, becoming the only player to be the team’s MVP and scoring leader in the same season more than once. The two-time MLS All-Star (2001, 2003) captained the Rapids to three straight playoff appearances from 2002-04. A two-time MLS Best XI selection, Spencer was inducted to the Rapids Gallery of Honor on Aug. 30, 2009. Spencer, 41, was considered the Rapids’ undeniable leader due to his skill and work ethic. During his time with Colorado, he played in 88 games and his 37 goals ranks among franchise career leaders. Spencer led the Rapids in goals scored twice, set the club’s single-season mark for goals (14) and career mark for assists (17). At the international level, Spencer earned 14 caps with the Scotland National Team from 1994-97. He earned his first cap for Scotland against Russia on November 16, 1994, in Glasgow. During his international career, Spencer played against England at Wembley Stadium in the 1996 European Championship. Spencer and his wife, Amanda, have three children, Chantelle, Brad and Dylan, and live in the Portland metro area. One of Spencer’s favorite goal celebrations was to kiss his wedding ring in honor of his family. TIMBERS, CREW PLAY TO 0-0 DRAW ON MAY 5 AT JELD-WEN FIELD The Timbers defense, which featured the return of Futty Danso and the insertion of Jack Jewsbury at right back, limited the Columbus Crew to just three shots on goal and contributed to a second consecutive home shut-out performance by goalkeeper Troy Perkins in a 0-0 draw against Columbus in front of a sellout crowd of 20,438 on May 5 at JELD-WEN Field. The Timbers generated 15 shots in the match, including 12 in the second half, but Columbus goalkeeper Andy Gruenebaum recorded six saves as the two clubs finished the back-and-forth affair in a draw. Perkins logged his second shutout of the season, forward Kris Boyd took a team-high six shots and midfielder Rodney Wallace had three shots on goal for the Timbers. Perkins made a crucial save for the Timbers in the 66th minute to keep the match scoreless. Off a short corner, Milovan Mirosevic found Josh Williams at the far post and Williams delivered a header on the doorstep of the goal. Perkins was in position and knocked the shot over the crossbar. TIMBERS U-23s TO HOST PSA ELITE IN U.S. OPEN CUP FIRST ROUND TONIGHT The Timbers U-23s will play host to PSA Elite of the U.S. Adult Soccer Association (USASA) Region IV in the first round of the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup this evening at JELD-WEN Field at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific). Based in Irvine, Calif., PSA Elite won the USASA Region IV championship on May 6, defeating Cal FC 2-0 to earn a berth in the U.S. Open Cup and clinch a spot in the USASA National Cup Final Four in July. The winner of the match will travel to take on the Carolina RailHawks of the North American Soccer League (NASL) in the second round on Tuesday, May 22, at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC; kickoff is set for 4:07 p.m. (Pacific).

PORTLAND TIMBERS AT HOUSTON DYNAMO TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2012 TIMBERS VS. DYNAMO Tuesday’s match is the third meeting between Portland and Houston. Last season, the Dynamo took all six points from the Timbers in two regular-season matches. In the first match, a road fixture on Aug. 14 at Robertson Stadium in Houston, former Timbers midfielder Adam Moffat scored in the 17th minute and forward Brian Ching added a second tally 10 minutes later as the Dynamo held on for a 2-1 win in front of 14,475 fans. Timbers midfielder Jack Jewsbury scored his seventh goal of the season, a new career high, in the 56th minute. Sal Zizzo and Darlington Nagbe earned the assists on the goal, as the Timbers saw their modest three-game unbeaten streak come to an end. Two months later, on Oct. 14, the Dynamo scored on each side of halftime for a 2-0 win in front of 20,323 fans at JELD-WEN Field. The match was the final regular-season home game for the Timbers in the 2011 season. Zizzo sustained a torn ACL during the first half and would miss the rest of the season. TIMBERS EXTEND HOME SELLOUT STREAK TO 22 MATCHES The Timbers have extended their home sellout streak to 22 matches following a match against Columbus on May 5. After selling out all 17 league home matches during the 2011 MLS season, the Timbers expanded the seating capacity of JELD-WEN Field to 20,438 (up from 18,627) for the 2012 season. TAKING SOME TIME OFF During the 2011 season, the Timbers registered a 1-1-1 overall league record following a layoff of 10 or more days between games. The longest layoff of last season was a 17-day span between league games (Aug. 24 vs. Chivas USA-Sept. 10 at Philadelphia). Tuesday’s match comes after a 10-day break for the Timbers, but isn’t the longest layoff the side will face during the 2012 campaign. Portland has stretches of 22 days (May 26-June 17) and 14 days (Oct. 7-21), as well as another 10-day break (Sept. 5-15) between league games this year. As a contrast, the Timbers will play six league matches in 25 days during the month of July. TIMBERS LOAN FORWARD DIKE TO LA BLUES OF USL PRO The Timbers announced May 8 that forward Bright Dike will join the L.A. Blues of USL PRO on a season-long loan. As part of the agreement, the Timbers may recall Dike from his loan at any time. Dike has started three MLS Reserve League games for the Timbers in 2012, scoring two goals. He played in 11 MLS regular-season matches and scored a goal in 2011 after missing the first five months of the season due to an Achilles injury. The Edmond, Okla., native first joined the club in 2010, during the Timbers’ final second division season, and signed with the MLS club on Oct. 19, 2010. A PLACE TO CALL HOME After spending the first three weeks of their inaugural 2011 MLS campaign on the road, the final stages of renovation work at JELD-WEN Field were completed in time for the Timbers to debut their impressively refurbished home on a national stage. The Timbers, in front of sold-out crowds of 18,627, scored seven goals on their way to opening up the stadium with a pair of wins over the Chicago Fire and FC Dallas in mid-April. JELD-WEN Field underwent a $40 million renovation that transformed the iconic downtown Portland venue into one of the most unique and intimate soccer venues in North America. JELD-WEN Field improvements include the addition of a new eastside seating section that will house the new KeyBank Club and premium club seats, the Widmer Brothers Southern Front deck behind the south goal that will provide unique vantage points ideal for casual group seating, a state-of-the-art video board that features high-definition technology for an enhanced fan experience and a new FieldTurf playing surface well-suited for the variety of sporting and community events that will be featured each year at JELD-WEN Field. Phase I of construction, which included foundation work for the new eastside seats, began in early 2010, while renovation on a larger scale began on Sept. 7, 2010, following the end of the Timbers second-division season. JELD-WEN Field, located in the heart of the city, was originally constructed in 1926 and has undergone a number of transformations over the years, none more substantial than the current renovation. The stadium has housed some of the most memorable events in its 85-year life, including presidential visits, an Elvis Presley performance in 1957, Pele’s last official game as a professional and the 2003 Women’s World Cup. It was home to the NASL Timbers from 1975-82 and most recently served as the home grounds for the USL Timbers from 2001-10.

SCOUTING THE DYNAMO Last year’s MLS Cup runners-up, the Dynamo have seen second-year forward Will Bruin take on the goal-scoring load early in the 2012 season with a team-leading four goals in six games. Bruin scored five goals in 25 appearances last season in his rookie year with Houston. Stalwart goalkeeper Tally Hall, a Northwest native, has made 43 consecutive starts in goal for the Dynamo. The Dynamo recently christened BBVA Compass Stadium, earning a 1-0 win over D.C. United in their stadium opener May 12. PERKINS RANKS NEAR TOP IN CONSECUTIVE STARTS AMONG ACTIVE KEEPERS Goalkeeper Troy Perkins has made 38 consecutive starts for the Timbers and the seven-year MLS veteran currently ranks fourth on the list of consecutive starts among the league’s active goalkeepers. Perkins’ current streak of 248 minutes without allowing a goal ranks third all-time among Timbers goalkeepers in the club’s two-year MLS history. The club record is 342 minutes set by Perkins last season (Aug. 20-Sept. 21, 2011). CONSECUTIVE STARTS (ACTIVE GOALKEEPERS)* 1. Matt Pickens (COL) 53 2. Tally Hall (HOU) 43 3. Dan Kennedy (CHV) 41 4. Troy Perkins (POR) 38 *As of May 12, 2012 MR. CONSISTENCY IN THE MIDFIELD Midfielder Diego Chara made his 21st consecutive start for the Timbers on May 5 against the Columbus Crew. Chara’s stretch of 21 straight starts set a new club record in the team’s two years in MLS. Chara has found a spot in the starting lineup in every league match since Aug. 14, 2011, against the Houston Dynamo. Before that, Chara made 15 straight starts from April 30-Aug. 3, 2011. The Colombian missed a match against San Jose on Aug. 6, 2011, due to a one-game, league-imposed suspension for caution accumulation. APPROACHING A MILESTONE The Timbers next goal will see the side reach a milestone. It will be the club’s 50th goal in league play. DEFENDER DANSO MARKS RETURN TO LINEUP WITH SHUTOUT Gambian international defender Futty Danso made his return to the Timbers lineup on May 5 against the Columbus Crew. Danso missed the first eight matches of the season while recovering from a broken bone in his left foot, but did play 45 minutes for the Timbers Reserves on April 22 against Vancouver.
