Jonathan Fredi set off on his academic adventure at Louisiana State University, where he pursued Spanish Linguistics at the undergraduate level. He further deepened his academic credentials at the University of Barcelona, Spain, obtaining a master's degree in International Relations. During a five-year tenure in Spain, he was involved in a UNESCO division that aimed at education reform, especially for women, manifesting his dedication to sustainable and accessible education.
When he returned to the U.S. in 2012, Jonathan plunged into public service, aligning himself with U.S. Senator John Cornyn's office. He was responsible for managing constituent relations and conducting Hispanic outreach. In 2015, his career path led him to the non-profit landscape with the USGLC, where he played a crucial role in maintaining the international affairs budget. His focus leaned towards international and economic development and promoting diplomatic strategies as an alternative to Department of Defense interventions.
Jonathan's career took a turn in 2019 as he stepped into the energy/utility sector. Joining Baldwin Associates as Head of Community Engagement, he handled various tasks, including gas price negotiations, managing franchise agreements, crisis resolution, and philanthropic fund allocation. Representing over 20 cities in North Texas, he led a team that achieved the construction of Dallas's first zero-net energy Habitat for Humanity home, a landmark achievement.
