Jonathan Fredi embarked on his academic voyage at Louisiana State University, where he pursued Spanish Linguistics. His educational journey culminated at the University of Barcelona, Spain, where he earned a Master's in International Relations. During his five-year tenure in Spain, he engaged with a UNESCO division, focusing on educational reform, primarily for women. This reflects his steadfast commitment to sustainable and accessible education. 2012 upon returning to the U.S., Jonathan immersed himself in public service, securing a position in U.S. Senator John Cornyn's office. Here, he worked diligently on constituent relations and Hispanic outreach. By 2015, he had ventured into the non-profit realm with the USGLC. In this role, he contributed significantly to maintaining the international affairs budget. He steered his efforts towards promoting international and economic development and diplomatic strategies as alternatives to Department of Defense interventions. Jonathan’s career took a turn in 2019 when he stepped into the energy/utility industry with Baldwin Associates, taking up the role of Head of Community Engagement. His duties were manifold, encompassing gas pricing negotiations, franchise agreement discussions, crisis management, and philanthropic fund allocations. With representation of over 20 cities in North Texas, he played a pivotal role in leading a team to establish Dallas's first zero-net energy Habitat for Humanity home. Outside of his professional pursuits, Jonathan is a passionate outdoors enthusiast and dedicated community volunteer. His fondness for nature, including activities like hiking, camping, and fishing, dates back to his Eagle Scout days. His passion for cooking and travel, honed during his time in Spain, allows him to delight in various cultures and cuisines.
