About Us

Jonathan Coles Studio is a multi award winning, independent British light manufacturer based in Henley-On-Thames.

Established 2006, we are a creative team of designers, engineers and craftsmen with experience of working on national and international projects, with a mission to create beautiful, handmade products.

To all our designs we bring a balance of imagination and meticulous attention to detail working closely with interior designers, architects, and private clients.

Design & Manufacturing

Our lights are carefully designed and manufactured at our studio and workshop in Henley-on-Thames in the UK.

Traditional manufacturing is combined with cutting edge technology to create distinctive and timeless lighting.

Our products are CE, UL and British lighting industry association approved and all our products use integrated LEDs for long life, efficiency and sustainability. We pride ourselves with using branded and trusted suppliers to maintain consistency of high quality to all our range.

The Ampere was born from our large scale installation at the regenerated Battersea Power station. Made from mouth blown recycled glass with natural brass machined detailing. Integrated with a long life, warm white light source the Ampere casts patterns onto the wall whilst illuminating the space.

Leaf Chandelier Data Sheet

Product Information

This truly distinctive luminaire features hand beaten copper leaves which have been heat coloured and internally illuminated. This illumination relies upon multiple warm light points which have been carefully integrated into these leaves via braided copper cables.

The result is a reflection on the leaves which provides dramatic shadows on the ceiling space above. Custom arrangements available upon request.
