Nestled in between historic building, WEST END THEATER and welcoming restaurants is a deserted and empty lot. Overtime, the cavity has attracted local graffiti to take place. This chained urban oasis in the center of communal activity and multi-generational and cultural heritage should be used to enhance the community, rather than leave it feeling empty.
NOCHE DE ALTARES is a communal event based on the Dia De Los Muertos celebration. Students, families, businesses, creators, artists, and activists are invited to participate in assembling a spectacle of night altars which bring awareness to social issues, lost figures, and communal appreciation for this significant tradition.
