When I decided to start my AAT courses, it was because I felt that my training had come to a halt. At the time, I thought that I would never be able to advance my career. The first course that I took was the AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Online). Once I started studying, I began to see some light at the end of the tunnel. The course content was not easy, but it was very rewarding and satisfactory when I passed the exam at the end of the course. The most important thing for me was being able to study at any time of day or night. This gave me flexibility as a part-time student and full-time employee. After completing Level 2, I progressed onto Level 3 Intermediate Certificate in Accounting (Online) and found it equally rewarding - especially when I passed once again! I am now half way through my final level, which is the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting (Online), and have one more unit left to complete before taking my final exam. I am very happy with how far I have come with AAT and feel very confident about pursuing a new career with this qualification under my belt. At first, when you are studying with AAT and then you get your first job as a trainee accountant, it may seem like a huge mountain to climb. But I have found that when you get into the job and can apply what you have learned in practice, it all becomes much more manageable.
