What are Those?

A muff is a fashion accessory for outdoors usually made of a cylinder of fur or fabric with both ends open for keeping the hands warm. First introduced in the 16th century, muffs were part of women's fashion and grew popular with both men and women in the 17th and 18th centuries. It briefly returned in the mid 1940s, and was also developed as a motorcycle accessory for attachment as rider-protection and comfort during the cooler months. As time roll forward, muffs can be seen in today’s sports such as sport hunting and football to provide increased comfort in adverse weather conditions.

What’s Wrong with Them?

The basic cylindrical shape and form Adds unnecessary puff to the groin area Handcuffs sticking out from each end Aesthetically, its an eye sore to look at

Ergonomically, the bend of the elbows makes the natural form look awkward and straining Marketably, Lots of missed opportunities to apply other functions and purpose Visually, there’s no appeal to having it on or wearing it in public.

What’s the Solution? One particular weather condition to look into is the winter time. To ensure that a city dweller is prepared for the unexpected weather, we want to improve the 3 main issues that winter can cause: visibility, protection, and staying warm. Design and construct a handwarming muff that will achieve the goals of: Slim dimension

Angular hand inserts

Low profile

Phone usage accessibility

Extend more hand room

Pocket for carrying misc. items
