•You need to make a new example folder on your desktop called QBTest.
•Transfer the transaction log files to this new folder from your corporate file folder.
•After acquiring precise access to the QuickBooks Auto Data Recovery folder from where your company data are kept, copy or move the .QBW.adr file to the QBTest folder.
•The .adr extension must be removed from the .QBW.adr file.
•Use the files from the new QBTest folder instead of your corporate ones; if all goes smoothly, return the files to their original location.
Some alternate solutions to resolve the error includes running QuickBooks File Doctor that you can easily access from the QuickBooks Tool Hub and QuickBooks Install Diagnostic that will help you rectify the installation issues. If none of the above solutions help you resolve the issue, you must immediately install the QuickBooks Desktop updates as it is also a possible reason for the occurrence of such issues.
