John Taylor Letter of Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern, I am glad for the opportunity I have to write to you about John Taylor. I have known John for nearly six years as the brother of my wife, Veronica. During this time I have come to know him as an upstanding young man of high moral integrity. There are many attributes that make John an outstanding candidate for an internship, but a few that stand out to me are his ability to learn and understand new concepts and his adaptability to new situations. To illustrate the preceding qualities I will give a brief example: When I first met John he was living in Cedar City, Utah as an 11 year old. Since then he has moved to Centerville, Utah, Bountiful, Utah, Williston, North Dakota, Henderson, Nevada and back to Cedar City, Utah. Throughout all of this constant change John has been able excel in the classroom, many times having to catch up on his own or adjust to different curriculum in the process. In addition to his studies, John has also shown the ability to adapt to his social surroundings and quickly make new friends along the way.

In my professional career at both the Utah Attorney General’s Office and Fidelity Investments I have found that no matter the field of work, a person can be successful if they have the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and have the social skills to work with a broad and diverse group of people. Because John possesses both of these skills, along with many other valuable traits, I would highly recommend him for any position and know that he will excel in all tasks to which he is assigned.
