House Spelling Bee After several severe rounds under the spotlights of our Music Hall, one ascendant Year 7 gained the summit of spelling perfection: Amaroo B (7MLT). This candidate from Moore fought off contenders from Butler,Vaughan and Norwood with words including ‘camaraderie’, ‘jeopardy’ and ‘egregious’. Congratulations Amaroo on your success! n

Taste the rainbow Many thanks to our wonderful catering team for promoting healthy eating and laying on a quite exquisite fruit platter for students and staff. n

First Aid Club First Aid Club has been a great success this year with 15 Year 7 and 8 pupils completing the John Lyon First Aid Award.

O

ver the course of the year they have learned how to perform CPR, use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and take care of sick and injured people as well as how to deal with fractures, burns, bleeds and many other ailments. Having shown great commitment to the club all concerned should be incredibly proud of their achievement.
