People’s Choice Award!

Year 11 student Hayden Eckermann’s work Street View was selected as a finalist for the 2023 Shaun Tan People’s Choice Award in the Upper Secondary Category!

This visual art award was open to Western Australian school students in years one to twelve and encourages imagination, innovation and creativity.

Congratulations to this year’s exhibited young artists. The top ten artworks from each category form the 2023 Exhibition which is on display at Subiaco Library from Monday 10 July until Sunday 6 August. Visit the library in person, or view the exhibition online.

Prizes are donated from the City of Subiaco and award sponsors and are presented to the top three entries in each category. A selection of the best artworks entered will feature in a month long public exhibition at Subiaco Library from Monday 10 July to Sunday 6 August. All exhibited artists receive professional framing or mounting for their artworks.
