These events could rival those that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s magnum opus. Reality is suspended above the floral arches while guests dressed to the nines rub elbows and sip old-fashioneds and French 75s. Dinner is served, and the band buzzes through the mixing and mingling. Beyond ‘a great party’ the subtle details do not go unnoticed. The dancefloor is packed late into the night up until the vintage getaway car departs into wedded bliss.

Byers Petty & Matthew Hellinghausen

PCPC | DALLAS COUNTRY CLUB

From the proposal to the wedding, Alison Baker Events created a memorable and special experience. The bride chose to marry her groom in a gown made by Nardos Design. As they awaited their ceremony entrance, Byers and her father shared many smiles and sweet father-daughter moments. The bride and groom chose to forgo a first look making her walk down the aisle immensely awaited. At the reception the couple swayed to “I Got You Under My Skin” and began the night of festivities. A white vintage Rolls Royce whisked the new Mr. and Mrs. Hellinghausen away from the reception and off into their lovely new chapter of marriage.

Allison Holmes & Cole Bailey

HPUMC | DALLAS COUNTRY CLUB

Allison wore a beautiful Mira Zwillinger gown to say “I do” to Cole at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Her bouquet was wrapped with a piece of her mother’s dress – one of our favorite “something old” tokens. This special piece had both of their initials embroidered on it as something blue, and they will one day add Allison’s sister’s initials when she gets married. The couple’s Dallas Country Club affair was created with the help of Kirstin Rose Events to be a warm, sophisticated soirée full of lovely soft colors. A gospel choir entered ahead of Allison and Cole ushering in the party. The space was furnished with an alluring mix of modern yet classic styles, and garnished with the floral arrangements crafted by The Garden Gate. As the night came to a close, the couple left the party in a pedicab driven by Allison’s brother!

Carter Goree & Stephen Sample

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH MIDLAND | MIDLAND COUNTRY CLUB

A wintery white wonderland was what Carter and Stephen had dreamed of for their January nuptials. The whole day was intertwined with notes of personal touches. The couple said “I do” at the same church the bride grew up attending and the same church that her sister was married in as well. Carter, a teacher, had her students sing at the ceremony which was a special nod to the close relationships she shares with them. The reception space exuded an inviting sense of warmth where guests were able to sip and nosh throughout the evening. Three Branches Floral and Perch Event Decor worked together to fashion a space of different white and cream tones to give depth to the space and create a reception that was fitting for the season!

HPPC | BROOK HOLLOW GOLF CLUB

With the help of Anna Eisenlohr Events, the bride envisioned a wedding shaded in her favorite lavender hue. Three Branches Floral created a stunning floral arch reminiscent of a Nantucket summer, and added potted lemon trees and blue and white chinoiserie vessels full of purple and yellow hydrangeas, garden roses, and greenery. At the reception, their first dance was to “Best of My Love.” The 5-course dinner was sweetly interjected at every course by toasts, cake cutting, and finished with champagne and espresso martinis. The bride made a quick and festive wardrobe change into a white cocktail dress and purple sneakers welcoming the party!

PCPC | DALLAS COUNTRY CLUB

As a nod to the couple’s time in Washington, D.C., The Garden Gate filled the reception space with beautiful cherry blossoms to pay homage to the place where the couple first met. The bride and groom’s love for travel made its way into their food choices. Their party favors were mini Tabasco bottles and beignets - a little celebration of Ned’s upbringing, going to Mardi Gras every year of his life! Aside from the thoughtful food choices and bright flower decor, the bride’s fashion choices were fun and fabulous! Her lace Romona Keveza gown was the spotlight of the ceremony and her feather sleeved gown she changed into for the reception was the perfect mix of elegance and sparkle! It was the loveliest of days and we are still toasting the #Newlyneds!

Caroline Beecherl & Cody Crews

Caroline & Cody

Caroline and Cody’s day was the quintessential picture of a Town and Country affair. Caroline wore a timeless Sareh Nouri bridal gown and carried a lily of the valley bouquet. The ceremony remained intimate, but family and friends lined up outside the church doors to toss rose petals and cheer on the darling new couple ahead of the reception. Their wedding details reflected Caroline’s southern equestrian background with bar fronts resembling chic derby stables and a sophisticated pastoral backdrop set behind the reception entertainment. Jackson Durham Events embellished the space with beautiful blue and white blooms creating a bright, yet refined color palette for the polished party. The bride surprised the groom with his favorite band, Shane Smith and the Saints, for the second half of the reception and the entire party danced away into the night before the couple was whisked away in a vintage convertible as sparklers lined their drive out!
