Major Differences Between Multi-Fuel Stoves And Wood Burning Stoves Wood burning stoves and multi-fuel stoves might operate and look similar, but they do in fact feature with different components and purposes. For those of you that are wondering what these differences are between a wood-burning stove and multi-fuel stove, this article will explain it all. One of the major dissimilarities between the two stove is the types of fuel used. Log burning stoves are designed to burn logs only, whilst a multi-fuel stove can burn several other types of fuel like briquettes, coal and solid fuel.
