But there are also stark differences, as gold loans are one of the shortest tenure loans, whereas housing loans are the longest tenure debt.

Gold loans and microfinance tend to be small or easy steps for a customer, but a housing loan is a much larger step, which is taken after much consideration.

power. We have something called doorstep delivery of home loans. The customer need not come to a Muthoot branch repeatedly. Our officers would visit their premises to deliver the loan. This is a huge advantage for them as each working day lost for such customers, by visiting a home loan branch, is quite valuable for them.
