About the Project
The Police Quarters Housing Project which covers the design of housing for police personnel and their families in an urban context with proper urban standards. This project basically manifests /proposes a peaceful environment for employees and their families within a society with amenities like play grounds, walking tracks for elderly, club houses which include gymnasium, workspaces, dispensary etc.
This project which provides residences for the police personnel of various hierarchies in Hyderabad.
Total Site Area: 1,24,200 sq.m.
Two typical floor plans were used for Blocks A,B and C, D.
A four unit per floor design for Blocks A & B and Six units per floor in Blocks C & D.
A Club House, A play ground including a walking track were provided within the site.
The typical floor plan of Blocks ‘A’ & ‘B’ are distributed symmetrically along the axes. For better connectivity to each other and simultaneously enjoying their much valued privacy.
The floor is given with wooden finish indoors and wooden textures artificial tiles in the corridors for montony of the floor pattern.
A three bedroom ,Living, Open Kitchen combined with dining area, And a visitors/ drawing area is given with attached and common toilets

AIAC 2023
ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT + URBAN PROJECT
As part of 8th semeseter, we participated in AIAC 2023 Tourism Project which involved a four month studio in which we have done research and analysis of the Site and site context in various areas like Historical, Social, Cultural, Economical etc.
We as a group tried to give our best in understanding, executing various aspects into our design of the Urban Project i.e, The Master Plan and the architectural project we proposed in the Wanchaq region of Cusco, Peru.
Finally, after weeks of data collection, research we discussed, debated on the problems, issues, opportunities of the region/ site and concluded our work by proposing a Cultural and Historical Interpretation Centre which was meant to educate, encourage, aspire, research on the cultural and historical aspects of Cusco which has its ancient roots founded by Inca Empire in 14th Century and also spanish empire has its crucial infulence in the culture of Cusco.
