Just now, Norway is the World Champion of «The Lack of Knowledge.»
This is announced in an Norwegian Newspaper (E24), under the heading:
«The First Contribution to the Norwegian CO2 Storage: A WorldBreaking News»
The Introduction is underlined with:
«The first CO2 is sent down to the CO2-depot «Northern Lights». - We show the world that it is possible to store CO2, says The Norwegian Energy Minister, Terje Aasland».

He is told that the CCS process is just in vain, but he does not listen at all.
First in The World
As the world's first nation, we have sent CO2 underground for eternal storage. If this had been waste from a nuclear power plant, this would have
been something to brag about. But unfortunately, it is not. It is the innocent CO2 gas, which is vital to all life on the planet, that has fallen into disrepair. This gas is about 0.043% of the atmosphere. And 4% of this has been accused of controlling the planet's climate. And this control, the alarmists believe, is happening uncontrolled, and that the temperature will rise many degrees, completely uncontrolled. And this will contribute to an uninhabitable Earth.
This is an almost unbelievable fantasy.
The exercises
What does the championship exercise consist of? Well, it is the so-called CCS, Carbon Capture and Storage, exercise that has started on Øygarden at The West Coast of Norway. There they are taking the CO2 gas underground, through pipes, 2600 m below the sea. There, the gas is safe, and the alarmists are confident that the CO2 molecules will not come and take them. After all, they have some free pair of electrons which is ready to attack with.
How did the alarmists come up with the idea that these 4% of 0.043% can destroy the climate? Yes, someone has managed to convince them that too much CO2 in the atmosphere leads to terrifying global warming. This is what thousands of climate scientists believe. And because there are so many of them, it must be true!
No documentation
But no one has seen any documentation of this danger. And no one can justify this warming phenomenon. They believed in a theory for a period, the Arrhenius theory, but it has been rejected. They talked about a climate sensitivity that would give a certain and strong warming if the CO2 level doubled. In the latest calculations of this sensitivity, the value is approaching 0˚C. Then there is not much sensitivity left.
Despite the documentation that points away from any warming effect of this vital gas, Energy Minister Aasland is very proud of what Norway has
achieved to get rid of the food gas CO2.
Nett to nothing
One thing is that this gas has no measurable effect on the temperature and climate. In addition, what Norway is doing is like a breath in the reeds, a sausage in the slaughterhouse. The planet emits 40 GT of fossil CO2 a year, and Norway 1/1000 of this. Norway will remove 75% of these emissions. At the same time, China has the opportunity to increase emissions by 1.2 GT by 2030. That is 40 times what Norway will remove. This does not sound like an even fight. But the Minister of Energy is very happy. Norway is in the front seat of this, which will lead us straight into the abyss. This CCS scheme is not sustainable; subsidies are absolutely necessary.
Someone has characterized this as follows: "We must increase the pace of something that has never worked, to solve a problem that does not exist and is not at all urgent, to achieve something that is impossible."
Mass hysteria is so impossible for people in the climate fog!

Ola Borten Moe (a Norwegian politician) characterized it all as: “Madness in the system”. Sylvi Listhaug (a Norwegian politician) referred to it as: “Self-harm at a high level”.
The knowledge in Science seems to be bouncing off the Government. How is this madness going to be stopped? It doesn’t help much to call it “The Green Deal». It makes it all worse!

- Tuesday at 10:10, we sent the first CO2 down to the well. It all went very good, according to Tim Heijn, the leader of Northern Lights.
The factory is now pumping the gas through a pipe of 100 km down to the Aurora Reservoir. At a depth of 2600 m under the sea surface, the climate gas will be safely stored for many years.
- Everything is according to the schedule, says Heijn.
80 tons of CO2 is stored pr. hour
The Storage is at Øygarden on the West Coast of Norway, the owners are Equinor, Shell, and TotalEnergies.
This is part of the prestige project Langskip, a plant to capture CO2 from the cement production in Brevik and from a waste facility, and then to store the gas on the Norwegian shelf.
- We are happy to have started, says Heijn
Till now, the CO2 has been transported by boat to a preliminary storage at Øygarden. Now the process is complete
- It is satisfactory that all is functioning and that the CO2 is stored in the ground. Just now, we have stored CO2 for 24 hours. This verifies that the CCS-concept is possible, says Heijn.
- It is also nice to watch the operator console, that all is functioning. At the moment, 80 tons of CO2 are stored in the well each hour. This ends up as 700,000 tons each year, with a continuous activity.

One of the political parties in Norway, FrP, at the right, liberal side, would not support this CCS. They suppose the whole concept is a waste of official money. The Minister disagrees due to the workplaces. And that technological development is dependent upon official subsidies.
The Norwegian State uses 22 billion NOK on the project Langskip. The journalist asks:
Why not use the money on school and the elderly?
- This is one method to support future value creation for the whole society, and ensure employment and safe workplaces in the future. The Project will be profitable several times It is not dependent upon subsidies, except in an early phase. In this way, Norway shows the world that such a project is quite possible.
A considerable expansion of the capacity
Next year, the Northern Lights will also include CO2-capture from biomass units in Ørsted Denmark and also CO2 from a Yara-unit in The Netherlands. This is based on an increase in the storage capacity from 1.5 to 5 million tons. At a cost of 7.5 billion NOK.
The Norwegian expansion has received about 1.5 billion NOK from the Connecting Europe Facility for Energy (CEF Energy). The Norwegian State will not support this expansion.
The expansion will increase in the future. Heidelberg, Østed, and Yara are
supposed to increase their capture. More boats for transport, more wharf facilities, and more tanks for the preliminary storage before the downstream to the final ground.
My comments
This reading is like a fairy tale, a fantasy beyond the scope to understand:
- The CO2 has no effect on the climate.
- The reduction of CO2 from the atmosphere will not be detected with respect to any effect on the climate.
- The natural part of the CO2-flux is 85-90% of the total CO2-flux pr. year. If the climate does not change in the near future, the CO2-budget will be largely unchanged, in spite of the CCS procedure and the Green Deal.
- The market is constantly developing CO2-cleaning is still not profitable without considerable amounts of subsidies.
- How can you assure that this will be one profitable, not just a symbolic operation?
- We have already decided to invest in the next phase, which is the commercial phase, says Tim Heijn.
- The market is still developing, and we work together with several companies, investigating the potential for real functioning. The first CO2 storage is an important milestone. The best we can do now is to prove its functioning, its stability, and that this will be the solution for the industry in the long term.
- There have been some obstacles to The Green Deal. Has it been difficult to obtain industrial agreements?
- We have not observed any backlash, but the achievement of industrial agreements is difficult. A lot of considerations must be evaluated, and a high coordination quality is necessary.
My comments
This seems like the ordinary challenge with innovation. However, do not see the future problems. Once the reality of the necessity of the whole CCS process, it will end up without customers.
This can not be sustainable.
Safe upon CO2 being stable in the ground
In the Aurora Reservoir, the CO2 gas is protected by thick layers of rock. Tim Heijn is confident, the gas will not be at risk for leakage.
- How do you secure that the gas stays in the ground?
- This is a usual question. We are extremely sure, the gas will stay in the ground.
- There is an impenetrable layer of slate, with a thickness of 120 -150 m on the top of the reservoir. This is called «a seal». Actually, there is another similar seal as well, says Heijn.
The company has control of the wells being drilled, and we will investigate how the CO2 may move, and the pressure as well, he ensures.
Then we will recognise if something is wrong. In addition, each 3. or 5. year we will perform seismic investigations to follow the quality of the reservoir.
My comments
This is obviously the least problematic among all. A leakage of CO2 should not be a problem, since the CO2 has no measurable effects on the climate.
A non-relevant issue
For a long time, it has been a considerable concern that this CCS procedure would not be profitable. But the Energy Minister has a kind of lifeline for safety. If the cost of the Climate Quota should increase in Europe, the CCS system will be more profitable. And Norway will have the advantage of being in front.
He is not afraid of a collapse of The Green Deal. He considers the climate question as a challenge for the Earth and the people to survive.

Final Comments
- The critical journalist is missing. The Indoctrination of the industry, about 50% of the people, the Government and the Parliament is destroying and preventing an open debate and the freedom of expression.
- The industry is losing its drive, just looking for subsidies.
- In photosynthesis, food and oxygen are produced. Why does the alarmist want to prevent this?
