Trump’s tariffs can help Canada in the long term - if only … … …

Were it not for crude oil sales to the US, the trade imbalance that Trump talks about would be nonexistent. So the solution to removing Trump's ridiculous tariffs would be to stop selling crude oil to the US, thus giving Trump his "fair" balance of trade that he claims to be behind his drive for tariffs with Canada. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. But sarcasm can be very powerful when it's loaded with the truth.
Having said that, it is nowhere near as difficult as the brain trusts in Ottawa, Victoria, and Quebec City make it sound. All we have to do is get rid of all the BS roadblocks that Ottawa Liberals, Victoria's NDP, and Quebec's Block parties have put in front of conventional energy producers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and even BC. All of these roadblocks are based on a false political propaganda that CO2 is not only an existential pollutant, but that a world-order government could actually override Mother Nature's control of climate and weather - if ONLY we'd let them!! This picture is so utterly insane when we sit back and just look at all the facts. Why are we allowing these globalist fanatics in Ottawa to do this to our country?
Once enough Canadians wake up and start electing federal and provincial governments that actually do have Canadians' long-term best interests at heart & mind, it will become so easy to market our vast supplies of hydrocarbon energy products to the entire world, and INDEED to ourselves - not to just the US. What a giant leap forward that would be for Canada's economy, independence, and sovereignty.
