Preface
This report presents over 3,000 articles on both sides of and about many issues related to the questions of climate, the use of fossil fuels and the future of the modern world. It takes no stand on any report. The reader is completely free to decide for herself / himself what is better science and engineering and what government policies are best for everyone.

Aegerter, Simon
Swiss physicist, Simon Aegerter, concludes that carbon dioxide from fossil fuels stays in the atmosphere for up to a century and therefore accounts for most of the additional CO2 in the atmosphere in the last hundred years. Furthermore, he claims that this is causing catastrophic climate change. His solution to save the world from catastrophic man-made global warming - a global build out of nuclear power to replace coal fired plants. That is far from technically possible. Most countries are not technically equipped in any way. Only countries like Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, the Arabian Peninsula, Vietnam,
Ukraine, UK and USA have the potential schools and universities, support businesses, regulatory capabilities.
American physicist William Happer comes to the same conclusion as Simon Aegerter about CO2 staying in the atmosphere for a long time and accounting for most of the additional carbon dioxide. But Happer concludes that the additional CO2 does not cause catastrophic climate change.
Swiss physicist, Irene Aegerter, agrees with Simon Aegerter. But she has taken the issue one tremendous step further. She is co-founder of the global organization Women in Nuclear. That organization and nearly all its subsidiaries embrace the idea that carbon dioxide from use of fossil fuels is causing the additional atmospheric CO2 for the last hundred plus years and also causing catastrophic global warming. At least enough warming so that nuclear power plants should replace coal fired plants because of the global warming argument.
Efforts by a Swiss energy expert, Lars Schernikau, to discuss this with the Aegerters have not been successful.

Women in Nuclear
Women in Nuclear Global and all country affiliates have an exemplary mission and professionalism.
They face two potential problems:
1) Their policy to brand man-made carbon dioxide a pollutant that
is supposedly causing catastrophic global warming with all the supposed climate side effects. Natural and man-made carbon dioxide are just one and the same miracle molecule of life. Women especially should appreciate the building blocks of life. Shouldn’t they question the catastrophic man-made global warming alarmism dogma foisted on the world by so many men?
2) For women to go along with men in the nuclear power industry who claim that the world can replace fossil fuel plants with nuclear power plants anytime soon shows a possible weakness in management judgement. Only “cockeyed optimists” might think that the world could replace coal fired power plants with nuclear power plants in the vast areas of developing countries and in developed countries in the next few centuries. It hasn’t happened in the last seventy five years and going global with nuclear power is a much more difficult challenge than building the existing nuclear power plants. It may be questionable to go along with male run organizations and individual male nuclear power leaders who propose the idea of the world going all nuclear in the next three hundred years.
John Shanahan, Civil Engineer. Host of the website; allaboutenergy.net. He is a climate change, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels and nuclear power realist.
Email; acorncreek2006@gmail.com (Acorn Creek Trail is a beautiful mountain hiking trail in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado that goes through five plant zones ending with tundra wildflowers.)
From the WiN website; With over 35.000 members, over 60 chapters in more than 145 countries, we are committed to promote an evidence-based dialogue with the public to raise awareness about the essential contributions of the peaceful uses
of nuclear technologies to address 3 crucial challenges: Climate Change, Gender Equality and the attraction of Young Talents.
I would like to highlight the key contributions of the founding mother of WiN Global, Irene Aegerter, who still to this day acts as an advisor and dedicates time and resources to this global socie
The world is reliant on power and energy to survive. Without drastic measures to reduce human energy consumption, impacting the lifestyles we have grown accustomed to and expect, meaningful climate action is required. As part of a sustainable energy solution, nuclear power can support renewable and other carbon neutral energy sources to ensure energy security, stability and reliability is maintained for generations to come. The nuclear industry is innovating and developing breakthrough technologies, notably with the construction of micro or small modular reactors associated with the production of carbon-free hydrogen.

Solar photo-volatic panels contribute to grid insecurity, wide-area blackouts, don’t work from late afternoon to after breakfast, are vulnerable to hail, wind, snow, dust and will contribute to mountains of trash around the world.
Nuclear power is the opposite of solar panels. Nuclear works 24/7, is designed for most catastrophic events of nature, produces the smallest amount of easily managed waste and has the smallest footprint of land use.
President Obama’s Science Advisor, John Holdren is a man-made global warming alarmist who is against use of advanced nuclear power technologies.

The world’s climate is absolutely beautiful. There is no man–made climate change crisis. Rather, there is real trouble with governments in Australia, Europe and North America. This problem doesn’t exist or to a much lesser degree in the rest of the world. The problem is with governments, powerbehind-the-scene oligarchs, mass media and academia!.
