Background: Jed Williamson spent decades listening to both sides of the man-made global warming debate. He has known John Kerry and John Shanahan most of their lives. That is a pot of boiling oil.
Jed has summited the world's highest and most remote mountains, always prioritizing safety. He is an outstanding educator and environmental diplomat.
He has tried but failed to bring together John Kerry, Bill McKibben, and John Shanahan to discuss the modern world rationally. Nice try, Jed. Thanks.
Today, John Shanahan and Jed Williamson were having another discussion about wind and solar energy.

You consider John Kerry to be a crackpot. Guess what? He (along with Bill McKibben) considers YOU to be a crackpot! Gosh, wonder what a face-to-face conversation would be like?
The planet’s temperature is rising, sea level is rising, and there is air pollution - especially where coal is being burned. Natural cycle combined with person-made.
How about nuclear, fossil fuel, AND solar, wind?
At least you don’t use the word ”hoax”!!!

Hello everyone! Happy autumn 2025!
On October 10th, we landed in Albany, New York, the city of my birth. We met my college classmate in civil engineering at the University of Notre Dame, and his wife. They are from near Baltimore, Maryland, not the infamous Baltimore, Ireland, where in the 1600s, Mediterranean pirates captured the town and took occupying English noblemen into slavery, and the Irish rightful landowners rejoiced.
We drove to Mont Tremblant, Quebec. Some walked. Others biked 20 miles. Then we drove to Montreal, where they biked 20 miles, and I
was a guest of Gerald Ratzer, emeritus professor of computer science at McGill University. After lunch, Gerald Ratzer and I visited Douglas Lightfoot, a 96-year-old retired professional engineer in the beautiful suburb of Baie D'Urfe.
Doug and Gerald are busy writing a report, "The Science Errors of the UN IPCC Climate Change reports." I will send it to many when it is published in a few months. It should be sent to John Kerry and Bill McKibben, and the politicians they serve.
On October 16th, we drove back to Albany and returned to Denver. In the Denver airport, my wheelchair pusher was from Eritrea, Africa. He has been in the United States for five years. His wife and two young children are in Kampala, Uganda. Life is very tough for many. Immigration Control Agents, don't send these people back to Africa. They are working hard and doing a lot of good.

Whoever is the cause of the universe and knows everything did not give humans a planet with a constant temperature and a constant climate. Only climate change alarmists dream that up. The weather is always changing from place to place and hour to hour. It is marvelous.
To claim that humans are causing catastrophic global warming is the work of crackpots. The population for the first time in 70,000 years blossomed from one billion suffering souls. Now, several billion people have access to various levels of modern standards of living.
To claim that humans can control Earth's average temperature to a fraction of a degree Celsius is lunacy.
John Shanahan spends each day enjoying nature and people. He sees
beauty in nature everywhere, wonderful, kind people, and also people who want to destroy most of humanity and Lord it over the rest.
Here is goodness and beauty shared between two distant parts of the world.

Colorado has been beautiful for thousands of years. Ask Native Americans, not climate alarmists. CO2 is the molecule of life.
Infrared radiation emitted from warmed surfaces of land and oceans acting on atmospheric man-made carbon dioxide from use of fossil fuels can not cause catastrophic global warming that John Kerry and Bill McKibben harangue about!
Scientists and engineers, documentation on allaboutenergy.net, and most people appreciate the benefits of fossil fuels, their thousands of modern world by-products, nuclear power, and nuclear medicine.
