Antarctica is melting!! or not...

Cold Facts About Faux Antarctica Meltdown James Kamis June 16, 2021 Once again last week, one of the top climate stories was on, well, thin Antarctic ice.

First, note that nearly all of the stories about "unprecedented" warming in this area refer to Western Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula.

There is good reason that no reference is made to the remaining 80% or so of the continent. That is because it is very difficult to melt ice when temperatures are tens of degrees Celsius below freezing. An Antarctica that isn't on the brink of complete meltdown does not fit into the catastrophic warming narrative needed to promote a climate of fear.

Now the question that you are surely asking is: "What is causing the increased heat flow and melting?" The answer lies thousands of feet below the surface.

Western Antarctica sits atop the West Antarctic Rift System and what has been described as Earth's blowtorch of intense geo-thermal heat. Beneath the ice is an area that hosts possibly the densest region of volcanoes in the world. Many researchers have attributed a goodly portion of the ice loss in this area to these naturally driven heat sources, not to alleged manmade warming.
