Americans Have Been Lied To… Donn Dears June 15, 2021

There is no climate crisis, but there is a political crisis.

Lie after lie has been crammed down the throats of Americans by climate alarmists and leftist politicians, supported by the media.

Their objective is to turn America into a Socialist country. That’s not an opinion, it’s a fact supported by quotations from the left, such as Naomi Klein, AOC and Bernie Sanders. They, of course, obfuscate what they say with soporific talk about Democratic Socialism, but the cat is out of the bag.

The truth is, the United States is, and has been, the richest country on Earth, with vast energy resources, i.e., coal, natural gas, and oil, coupled with a capitalist system, based on property rights, that has been able to turn these resources into products that have enriched all Americans.

What better way to neutralize America’s resources than to claim there is a climate emergency, where CO2 emissions must be eliminated.

Lies that are told often enough become accepted truth. This has been the modus operandi of fascist dictators throughout history. Ignoring the names of those leaders who led the Axis, the Soviet Union, Communist China, and lesser monsters in smaller countries, is a tactic designed to prevent equating today’s leftist leaders with them.

These names should reverberate throughout the media, rather than being shielded from public debate. Hitler, Mussolini, Hirohito, Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, together with their propagandists, Gobbles, Tojo, and Molotov, should all be part of today’s discussion.

These propagandists manipulated their populations by using the Big Lie, and then repeating it until the lie was accepted as fact.

The number of lies that have been told to Americans is staggering.

This article will address a few of them, beginning with: 1

There is a climate emergency, and CO2 is an existential threat to mankind.

This is the Big Lie, supported by the following additional lies.

Global warming from greenhouses gasses is causing: • • • • • • •

Catastrophic sea level rise Increased number and stronger hurricanes More tornadoes More and larger wildfires The spread of tropical diseases Increased number of extinctions More deaths from heatwaves

Every one of these predictions is a lie.

They are lies that have been debunked by reputable scientists, but where the media has ignored the science and perpetuated the lie.

Clean Energy is another Big Lie, perpetuated by the media.

Wind and solar, and battery-powered vehicles are supposedly clean.

But they are, in many ways, dirtier than natural gas and coal.

Wind and solar, and the Lithium-ion batteries used by battery-powered vehicles, require rare earths and other minerals that emit CO2 in their extraction and processing, and transport to where they are used, while also causing environmental damage in the process.

Much of the mining and processing is done in countries with few environmental regulations, where child and slave labor may also be used.

The accompanying chart from the International Energy Agency (IEA) shows there is far greater use of rare earths and “dirtier” minerals in so-called clean energy technologies — that aren’t so clean — than in traditional technologies, such as conventional cars and power generation using fossil fuels.

Note that coal and natural gas require the least amount of these “dirtier” minerals.

Americans have been lied to by politicians, activists, and their government.

The media has perpetuated the Big Lie, preventing vast swaths of the population from seeing the truth.

There is no climate crisis, but there is a political crisis.

And, clean energy isn’t clean. ........
