That includes students from high school through university, parents, teachers, workers, technicians, professionals, leaders in government, retirees.

WHY VISIT THIS WEBSITE? To learn why energy and energy by-products are especially important to support a modern world and preserve a healthy environment. To have sound energy management and keep control away from people with bad intentions

NAVIGATION IS IMPORTANT There are many articles, PowerPoint Presentations, videos, long reports and some books posted on the website. The challenge is to find what you are looking for quickly and to discover what is there that you might want to read.

These articles are located at the ends of a vast branch structure like leaves on a tree or tips of a plant root system. See drawings below.

Navigation is done by starting at the base of the tree or root system and following along until you get to a leaf or a tip of a root. To go to another article, you have to follow your path back to a point where you can go to the next article you want. In this kind of navigation, you can only see a short distance ahead and you can’t see the whole structure. It takes time. You can use a search window, but this can return many results and looking through everything takes time.

We developed several ways to quicken your search. You can use: MAIN TOPICS ENERGY, RADIATION, NUCLEAR MEDICINE, YOUTH, PEOPLE, ENVIRONMENT, PEOPLE, VIDEOS, NEWSLETTER. These are tabs at the top of the home page. See screen shot below.

USE SEARCH WINDOW There is a search window at the top of every page. Enter a keywords by topic, author’s name, country, language. “France” brings up all articles by authors in France and articles about France. “French” brings up all articles written in French. “CFACT” brings up all articles by this organization. “NUCLEAR” brings up all articles with “NUCLEAR” in the title. There may be more articles about nuclear without that word in the title. You must search in that subbranch of the website structure. The default language is English. It is not specified. Some countries speak many languages but use English as an official language for communicating with the rest of the world. Two examples are India and South Africa. We do not post articles in their other languages.

QUICK TWO-PAGE NAVIGATION GUIDE. (Very helpful.)

Here is the quick navigation guide. This can be the fastest way to get a complete overview of website content and jump from place to place without having to retrace your steps in the branch structure. Navigating by the branch structure, you only see content nearby. With this navigation chart, you see the whole website down several levels. It is more intuitive. Topics are grouped by color block with the name of the main tab at the top of the color block. The main subtopics are listed in the color block. Every topic or subtopic has a hotlink to jump to that part of the website structure.

Once there, you can navigate further down the website structure until you get to a listing of articles. The order of the information about an article is (organization, author, title).

This way all articles by a given organization and author are listed together. See for example, here. To see the second page, click the right arrow on the right side.
