Americans are spoiled; some are even arrogant about having energy including electricity. Americans flip on a light switch and have light. A thermostat controls ambient temperature to their liking. Drinking water is available. Vehicles have fuel available close to almost every home, office, other workplace or school. Ample food is available at local stores. And, medical care is readily available for most Americans. None of this is available in most countries. America is rich in natural resources including for energy conversion to useful energy. Americans mastered mining and developing energy technologies to create the most industrial and prosperous nation on earth. America’s industrial might and desire for freedom helped free nations from oppression in World War I and World War II. Today many nations are under a new assault. The biggest difference is mostly an economic war for control over people, their countries natural resources, or geographical location. People without energy are at risk. There are countries with limited amounts of energy - energy is critical to their very existence. There is no longer any reason to not have the energy required to live and prosper without being controlled by others. It’s time to break the leftist noise about climate change and renewable energy. It’s time for the truth about what is needed globally for baseload electricity and thermal (heat) energy for uses like desalinization. The world needs nuclear generated electricity and thermal energy. We must exploit every natural energy source for its highest and best economical use. Nuclear power is the single best resource for mankind. American nuclear energy used by the U.S. Navy was carried over into commercial nuclear power in 1957. American nuclear power plant designs have demonstrated load following for close to 70years. Don’t let people confuse you saying U.S. commercial nuclear plants are not able to load follow. Most were designed to operate most efficiently by being at 100% power. New American nuclear power plant designs are built to load follow other electricity sources like solar and wind; wind being the least predictable.
