Wind and sun vacations - Europe In America in 2020, they are also words in politics: Renewable wind and sun electrical energy, Bernie Sanders anti-fossil-fuels, free-handouts-for-everyone candidate for president. What kind of a country will the United States be in the future? What will be the choice for energy sources to drive the economy?

Yesterday in Denver, the news was that the City Council met in secret behind closed doors to decide to put all government buildings on wind and solar power by 2025 and all the citizens and businesses on the same by 2030. I mentioned that to a neighbor. Before I could say the rest of the bad news, she said, "Goodie." I locked my lips shut in order not to ruin a very good twenty-year friendship. I've written and talked for years with her about the problems of wind and solar energy. She had seen everything I wrote and never openly disagreed. There were quotes by experts who have studied these "green" energy technologies in depth. The quick response that interrupted what I was going to say about the Denver City Council was simply one word, "Goodie" or "Goody" if you prefer that spelling. I was going to say that the state and local governments are causing great harm.

It was perfectly OK with my neighbor that elected officials met behind closed doors and acted like dictators to mandate use of wind and solar energy instead of fossil fuels and nuclear. She was thrilled. "Goodie!" She thinks that wind and solar energy are going to save the planet from supposed catastrophic, man-made global warming.

History was made in Nevada for renewable energy. Bernie Sanders clearly beat all candidates for that state's choice to run against the Republican incumbent. Bernie Sanders will force America to use wind and sun to generate electricity. He will mandate stopping use of fossil fuels and nuclear.

For 200 years, fossil fuels created the modern world and led armies to defeat terrible enemies. Nuclear is 10,000 to 1,000,000 times better than fossil fuels. Sanders and like minded Democrats will run the next horrible war on windmills, solar panels and electric airplanes or gliders.

America's enemies have gained control of our citizens through manipulation of children in schools and adults via the media, politicians, Greenpeace, the Natural Resources Defense Council, Earth First, President Obama's Science Advisor John Holdren, and super climate alarmist Jim Hansen. Advanced nuclear has been stopped in the USA by physicists Frank von Hippel, Thomas Cochran, John Holdren, and presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. The total victory of America’s enemies may not be far away.

Thousands of scientists in North America, Europe and South Africa have declared that Earth’s climate is controlled by natural processes, not man-made carbon dioxide from fossil fuels. The world needs to continue using coal, oil and natural gas to improve living standards.
