No Plan B for Planet A Paul Driessen November 25, 2019 Environmentalists like to say “There is no Planet B.” Therefore, they claim, we must eliminate fossil fuels, to prevent “dangerous manmade climate change.” So they present their Plan A: Keep fossil fuels in the ground – which Senators Warren, Harris and Sanders and other Democrat presidential aspirants promise to do beginning their first day in the White House. Their Plan B would replace fossil fuels with wind, solar, biofuel and battery power. But in reality, they don’t have a Plan B. They just assume this monumental transformation would simply happen. They don’t have a clue about what would be required. It’s never occurred to them that these technologies require massive amounts of raw materials that have to be dug out of the ground, which means mining, which they vigorously oppose. So I’m again raising some vitally important issues – because their phony Plan B would destroy our economy ... and devastate the US and global environment. Thank you for posting my article, quoting from it, and forwarding it to your friends and colleagues. Enjoy your Thanksgiving – and give thanks for the fossil fuel, nuclear and hydroelectric power that are still the foundation of our modern economy, health and living standards. Best regards, Paul
No Plan B for Planet A Replacing fossil fuels with “renewable” energy would devastate the only planet we’ve got Paul Driessen Environmentalists and Green New Deal proponents like to say we must take care of the Earth, because “There is no Planet B.” Above all, they insist, we must eliminate fossil fuels, which they say are causing climate change worse than the all-natural ice ages, Medieval Warm Period or anything else in history. Their Plan A is simple: No fossil fuels. Keep them in the ground. More than a few Democrat presidential aspirants have said they would begin implementing that diktat their very first day in the White House.
