I have read your analysis and comments WRT John Nielsen-Gammon and agree with your analysis.

Your forte is modeling and theory; my career was mostly with measurements, analyses of those measurements, and forecasting future events based on models, as a user of models purporting to describe future events. I have over 50 years experience in such.

My analysis: careful examinations of observations and data make the case for a very small positive, perhaps even negative feedback.

I would suggest you read all my class notes for weeks 3, 4, and 5. What follows are my thoughts on this distilling only the most important from those classes.

In my Week Five class there are many plots of surface temperature history. Please examine those on slides 63, 64, 137 and 141.

Slide 144 shows emissions of GtC (Giga ton of Carbon) over the 20th and into the 21st Century. Slide 137 shows that in the first part of the 20th Century temperatures increased about 0.5C ~1910-1940 yet emissions were flat, about 1GtC/year. From 19401970 emissions quadrupled, yet temperatures fell significantly. The temperature rise from 1975-2000 was of the same order as the temperature rise from 1910-1940 yet emissions increased to10 GtC/year by 2015.

These data speak to the small positive or even negative feedback.

Examination of the same time series, but at different times shows to me fraudulent behavior on the part of NASA GISS, because they are changing previously published data, and all of the changes are in one direction, cool the past and warm the present. Such speaks to premeditated behavior, not nature.

The professional societies are also on the take. I took to task the American Meteorological Society, but as Judy Curry has stated, the American Physical Society is as bad. I was a Professional Member of the AMS for almost 40 years, it is so sad to see the Society take this turn. This is not science; it is â&#x20AC;&#x153;political scienceâ&#x20AC;? in pursuit of grant monies.
