Dear friends of clean nuclear energy, renewable energies, and a zero-carbon world, The following article, an interview of Bruno Comby by Alexandra Gladysheva, is now on line, published recently by the independent media "EU Environment Reporter" : https://www.eureporter.co/environment/2017/09/06/by-the-tracks-of-cop21-3-stepsto-decarbonization/ EFN considers that it is urgent and should be considered as a top priority to decarbonize our electricity production, in the EU, in North America, in China and elsewhere around the world. Coal was the energy of the 19th Century. Oil was the energy of the 20th century. Methane was a rising energy at the turn of the 20th and dawn of the 21st century. But the burning of coal, oil and gas all three generate a massive pollution of our planet's atmosphere by rejecting into the atmosphere huge amounts, millions, and even billions of tons, of sulfur oxides (acid rains), nitrogen oxides (respiratory irritants), and carbon oxides (greenhouse effect).
