May 1, 2017 Dr. Edwin Berry As you already know, I believe human CO2 does not drive atmospheric CO2. My December post on this subject is here. My analysis shows that nature, not human emissions, drives atmospheric CO2. This post now has 223 comments with arguments on both sides. This is a controversial subject. It is also a very important subject. If our emissions are not a major player in the observed increase in CO2, then the climate game is over. And we "don't need no stinkin' Paris Climate Agreement." If our emissions don't control atmospheric CO2, then there is no reason to control CO2 emissions. Even if the every country on the planet stopped its CO2 emissions, it would make no difference to atmospheric CO2, or to future climate. On April 22, a new discussion on this subject began on a private email list. We have now transferred this discussion to a new post here. You can read the emails from the beginning to the end and form your own opinion. New discussion will follow in the comments. This is your invitation to join or follow the ongoing discussion of this critical subject because the arguments on each side are interesting and relatively easy to follow. While most of the discussion is easily readable, I have just added my reply to the last comment that is somewhat technical since it used differential equations. But maybe my comments will help you follow the argument even if you don't understand calculus.

CO2 from Human Emissions Partick Moore began this public discussion with a email group on April 22. We have moved our email discussion to this post. We show the previous emails in chronological order through April 30. Now anyone interested can post comments to continue the discussion. – Ed Page 1
