About climate change and mankind's influence on it Most alarmists reduce the issue of manmade climate down to whether humans affect climate. That is not the main issue. Of course humans can affect the climate. The real issues are not whether “human influence on global climate is controversial�. The real issues are: (1) What is the quantitative relationship between climate and CO2 concentration? (2) What are the impacts of climate change on humanity? (3) If the claims of impacts by the alarmist prove to be correct, what can we do about it, while still providing the people of the world with energy? (4) As the US unilaterally deprives itself of fossil energy, is it harming itself economically while China and other developing nations expand their use of coal? Donald Rapp
