Positive Proof That Carbon Dioxide (CO2) IS Not a Driver of Global Warming Š O. R. Adams Jr. 2014

In November, 2013, I wrote the article, A Challenge to Scientists on Whether Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Causes Global Warming. The thrust of the article was that I did not believe that CO2 had any substantial effect, either up or down, on global warming. I suggested that scientists add CO2 to a particular area and observe the temperatures at various times of the day and night. Record the temperatures at the same times in an adjacent and similar area where CO2 has not been added; and compare the temperatures of the two places.

I have now found some information that may be even better than the research I suggested. The NOAA Observatory at Mauna Loa, Hawaii, has kept a long-standing record of both CO2 and temperature at that particular place. If an increase in CO2 had a substantial effect on global warming, when it was increased at a particular place, it would necessarily cause warming in that particular area. The below information shows that at Mauna Loa, although the CO2 continually increased, the average temperature did not. In fact, there was a slight decrease – particularly in the last 15 years. This is positive proof that CO2 is not a driver of any global warming, as our government, and the "Global Warmers," have been telling us. There are a number of reputable scientists that have written articles showing how CO2, which is necessary for life on earth, benefits our planet, instead of harming it.

Jennifer Marohasy is a scientist, author and speaker. �Dr Marohasy has a PhD from the University of Queensland, worked for twelve years as a researcher for the Queensland government (much of this time based in Madagascar and then Kenya), six years as environmental manager with the Queensland sugar industry, and then six years as a senior fellow at the Melbourne-based Institute of Public Affairs. She is currently an adjunct research fellow at Central Queensland University funded by the B. Macfie Family Foundation.

1950's. The undisturbed air, remote location, and minimal influences of vegetation and human activity at MLO are ideal for monitoring constituents in the atmosphere that can cause climate change. The observatory is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - Earth System Research Laboratory (ESRL) - Global Monitoring Division (GMD).

I think a further note on this is also important. Although the global CO2 has continually increased over the years, there has been no global warming for 17 years and nine months.

The 213 months without global warming represent more than half the 425-month satellite data record since January 1979. http://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/obop/mlo/ It is interesting that this Mauna Loa Observatory website, run by a proponent of global warming, proudly displays its information on the increase in CO2, but it is very difficult to find their records of temperature at the same place. And they do not display any plots or graphs on the temperature. I wonder if it is because it is so clearly against their theory on CO2 driving global warming. We are fortunate that someone has undertaken the difficult job of sifting out the information on the temperature there, too. The NOAA claims that the Mauna Loa CO2 records are representative of the global CO2 increases.

The pure fraud being committed on the American people and the people of the world by our government and the "Global Warmers" is the greatest and most expensive fraud in the history of the world. It has been and continues to be extremely destructive to our country.
