Joel started as a teenager in real estate on the property management crew of a classic 1912 apartment building in Philadelphia, learning to work with experts across every trade, and to keep owners and tenants happy with creative problem-solving.
Since 2001, Joel has been fully focused on finding, fixing, and selling historic homes as a Realtor on behalf of his clients and as an investor and lover of old houses and new designs. In 2006, Joel and a group of like-minded entrepreneurial agents founded the first Keller Williams (KW) office in DC — now 400 agents strong and growing. Joel’s varied and hands-on experiences as a counselor, investor, renovator, and marketer have all combined to make him a truly extraordinary advisor and guide, helping his clients achieve their individual goals in the vibrant neighborhood fabric of the Nation’s Capital.
With more than 12 years of experience in Mortgage Banking,Angela is committed to the overall success of every client’s experience with the Joel Nelson Group as our Director of Operations. She enjoys forming a personal relationship with the buyers and sellers to better assist them in their home purchase and home sale needs and has extensive knowledge in managing the contractual side of real estate transactions.
Anative of Virginia,Angela relocated to the DC area in 2002.Angela enjoys volunteering, and spending time with her husband and their two children.
