PERSONAL SUMMARY
I am hard-working, diligent, and organised. My strong interpersonal skills are utilised best when collaborating within a team, which I thoroughly enjoy. Being trustworthy and dependable are two of my greatest assets. I keep an eye out for new challenges and am always eager to pick up new skills as well as develop expertise. Proactivity and creativity are the key elements in the approach I take when working towards completing tasks.
After completing my RIBA part II, an opportunity was presented to work as a design manager. I have appreciated the chance to build on my architectural knowledge and explore the main contractor side of construction. Working in a combination of locations; both on, and offsite, has provided me with an invaluable experience and deepened my understanding of the collaboration required between the design, commercial and site teams to build what an architect has envisioned. As a design co-ordinator I have successfully run key CDP packages on projects by managing information, consultants and contractors through the design process. The skills I have acquired and refined through my work at SDC will be extremely beneficial to all my future architectural endeavours.
Architects have the role to connect and strengthen today’s communities whilst shaping tomorrow’s. We cannot force change, but through innovation we can facilitate, nudge and inspire distinct experiences of existing surroundings.

WORK EXPERIENCE
ASSISTANT DESIGN CO-ORDINATOR
SDC Builders LTD - Bedford & Oxford, England October 2022 - Current Currently collaborating amongst a team of fellow design coordinators on a large Passivhaus scheme. Previously worked on smaller scale projects independently, with access to senior managerial guidance. Throughout my time at SDC I have learnt how Design & Build projects are run on-site, experiencing each stage: from ground enabling works, reviewing Stage 4 packs to building handover (RIBA stage 3-6). I am relied upon to communicate with architects, building control officers, civil and structural engineers. Forming these cross-functional relationships has led to process improvements, company success and lasting friendships.
Key Responsibilities
• Managing consultant and subcontractors design and review processes to meet procurement schedules.
• Reviewing consultant specifications to adhere to the contract as well as to meet project specific sustainability goals.
• Liaising with Passivhaus specialists to discuss requirements and provide evidence from site.
• Creating a Passivhaus site evidence gathering system to allocate key responsibilities for the site team. This will setup a clear process as the project is in full flow.
• Procuring and tracking exterior, internal and ironmongery samples for client approvals.

PROJECT ST EDMUND HALL
UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD
ARCHITECT: WRIGHT & WRIGHT ARCHITECTS
INVOLVEMENT: 4 MONTHS - ONGOING (RIBA STAGE 4-5)

St Edmund Hall is a student residential project made up of three new CLT, Passivhaus blocks and the refurbishment of an existing building.
-Dealing with site constraints is definitely a key issue I have witnessed on the project. Maintaining dialogue with the site team I have become aware of how sequencing works affects the overall programme.
- The role has required me to be organised and diligent on CDP information release dates to meet lead times and be able to chase contractors when required.
- Passivhaus trained. Manage and processed the evidence collation on-site, a crucial task in order to receive Passivhaus accreditation at the end of the project. I set up a system to utilise all the expertise on the team from the MEP, logistics and site managers.

PROJECT RUNWAY DECK CARPARK
HARWELL SCIENCE & INNOVATION CAMPUS, DIDCOT
ARCHITECT: STRIPE CONSULTING
INVOLVEMENT: 12 MONTHS (RIBA STAGE 4-6)

My first project working on site, the car park was a great learning experience in forming a good relationship with consultants in order to get the right information at the scheduled time. Grasped key site issues such as programme, lead times and approvals that has made me more proactive and prepared to find ways to tackle challenges in order to come up with solutions. The car park was successfully handed over to the clients with full building control sign off, O&Ms and building training.

PROJECT ZETA
HARWELL SCIENCE & INNOVATION CAMPUS, DIDCOT
ARCHITECT: ALLIES & MORRISON
INVOLVEMENT: 6 MONTHS (RIBA STAGE 4 +5)

Project Zeta will be a flexible building with of 3 individual units with a shared entrance and amenities or as a single self-contained building. My role involved co-ordinating the cladding, brise soleil and steel frame subcontractors to work together in order to design the facade. Being the focal point of the project, I was successfully tasked to built a mockup section in order to prove to the clients that SDC could form the shell to the highest quality. It served as a method to teach the site team on how to sequence the main works.

STUDENT HOSTEL
KUMILY, KERALA, INDIA
ARCHITECT: ARCHITECTURERED
INVOLVEMENT: RIBA STAGE 1 & 2 EQUIVALENT

My first task at the architecture practice was to come up with ideas and concepts for a new project. Initially I zoned out the best orientation and massing of the new buildings on the site. Located on a tea estate in Kerala it was important to maintain the views through to the nature. The goal was to make the building porous and light enough to not take away the main focus from the landscape. In a small team we put together a presentation was using SketchUp, InDesign and AutoCAD to be presented to the client.

As part of the TVM team, I assisted in designing details in the house. Such as the stairs leading from the exterior to the office. I drew up details and prepared numerous sheets that were sent out to vendors and false ceiling layouts that were checked to be sent out for construction.

THE SOCIAL GATEWAY
DUNDEE 2222
FIFTH YEAR THESIS PROJECT 2022
The project explores the densification of Dundee in 200 years and looks at how social life will have changed. Technology has helped us stay connected during the multiple lock downs, but it has changed the way we communicate as we are able to roam the streets more freely. How can we use architecture to attract people back to the streets? To be able to promote attractive activities and inspire individuals to reclaim space to build community. The society in the future will be ‘pixelated’ as in completely run through screens. Going of current trends, political debate is fuelled by the unknown on social media. It is vital then to create an environment in the city to be able to foster the human condition of ‘action’. physical infrastructure can double up as a social amenity that facilitates basic economics and security, contributing towards meeting social objectives. The design proposal of the social gateway integrates the centre of individual Dundee islands with its edges and the balance and connection between the mind, body and soul of every resident.
The thesis investigates how physical infrastructure and spatial layouts can improve social infrastructure in a city, hopefully triggering a change in the way we interact in this digital age. The objective is to take the digital out of the bedroom and put it on the street. Taking social media out into the open again in the city where it can be witnessed by others. Set in a Dundee future modelled on the ideas of Unger’s Berlin, dotting an archipelago of social infrastructure interconnecting the city and its hinterlands. Adapted and filling the gaps left behind by vehicular parking spaces and structures in response to future car ownership.
