"Before my current position as Recruiting Assistant, I worked in Bridgewater College’s Office of Career Services department. I now work with employers to schedule on-campus recruiting dates and information sessions and post job and internship positions on Recruit-A-Duke, as well as assist in other areas to make their recruiting experience a smooth process. I hope to be staying here for a good, long while. My goal is to get my master’s degree in the time that I am at JMU. I am excited to take on this new role and build relationships with our amazing employers."
2. Where's Brady now? Not to fear, Brady is still with us in CAP. Brady has taken on a new position of the Database Manager and Instructional Media Design Assistant. 3. Our graduate assistant, Meredith, is graduating! She will be completing her masters in Human Resource Development in May. She's excited to move to DC this summer to start working at Deloitte Consulting.

SNAP SHOT 1. The Spring 2016 Career and Internship Fair was a huge success! This semester's fair brought over 160 employers and 1,200 JMU students.

2. The Spring 2016 Handshakes and Hellos Networking Expo highlighted career fields and employers in Marketing, Media & Communications. We had 12 unique employers and over 100 students in attendance.
3. It has been another exciting recruiting season here at JMU. Throughout the Spring semester we had 69 employers on campus and over 1,200 students interview.

Our first ever Employer Drive In Conference in 2015 was a huge success. We are bringing it back this year with a focus on communication, collaboration and connection with students and faculty in departments across JMU. We are excited for a full day of fun.
