JM Horseboxes are manufacturer’s of a VCA approved product and a VBRA approved manufacturer. all of our horseboxes are manufactured by ourselves at our workshops by our team of craftsmen - all of whom are qualified in their fields from coachbuilders to joiners and electricians. Importantly, we do not contract any of our work out to other fabricators who may or may not be VBRA approved giving you peace of mind that all our horseboxes manufactured to the highest standards and fit for the purpose of transporting horses.

Our JM Chaser 2 stall range is manufactured using only the best quality most durable materials available and as a company we take great pride in the quality, finish and attention to detail shown in all our horseboxes. All our horseboxes come with warranty on both the chassis and body and here at JM we also offer a full after care service from annual testing to any accident repair work in our onsite body repair and spray shop.

JM Chaser 3.5 and 3.9 tonne

3.5 and 3.9 tonne models available

• New one piece composite panel body - contains no wood product eliminating any risk of rot or delamination as occurs with wood based products such as glasconite

Built with durability and safety in mind and to the same high standards as all JM Horseboxes, incorporating all the important safety features including reenforced twin bulkhead, aluminium floor, collapsible breast bar and extra wide grooms door the Chaser is a compact, easy to drive, economical horsebox ideal for day trips.

To drive a 3.5 tonne horsebox you must have a category B driving license. A 3.9 tonne horsebox requires that you must have passed your category B (car) driving license before January 1st 1997 OR hold a category C1 (up to 7.5 tonnes) driving license. The cost to upgrade to a 3.9 tonne horsebox in the in customize section.

We offer a range of chassis to choose from or we are happy to build on your own chassis.

The Chaser XL features all the same safety and durability aspects as all our models but also has the added impact of bonded privacy glass window, front bull bar and cooling system in horse area as standard.

As you know our horseboxes are bespoke and custom fabricated the specification below can be amended to suite you, for instance you can have standard framed windows instead of bonded privacy glass, we offer a choice of different partitions, if you would prefer to have the grooms area just left basic with only seating and wardrobe we can do this and reduce the build cost accordingly, etc. If there are any alterations or additions you would like to make to the specification please let me know and I will adjust accordingly, as the details below are for quite a high specification box. For example a more basic box with standard windows and standard white finish grooms area would be less expensive. And some pictures too.
