r. Lou H. Devine Sanders is a Professor/Librarian Emeritus in the area of Educational Technology. Her educational matriculation includes a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, an Ed.S in Educational Administration from Jackson State University, a B.A. in English Literature and Library Science from Jackson State University, and the AMLS in Library Science from the University of Michigan. From 19941998, she conceptualized and aided in the design of the $13.5 million H.T. Sampson Library expansion/renovation
project that won the 1998 Architecture Digest Best New Library Structure award for that year. Dr. Sanders has served as a full professor/librarian emeritus in the College of Education for the past 10 years. She teaches Educational Testing and has become a strong proponent of the studentcentered teaching and learning process.

r. Evornia Kincaid is an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education. She received an M.S. and Ed.D. from Cardinal Stritch University, an M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and a B.S.B.E. from the University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She worked over 25 years as a K-12 teacher, counselor and school administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has taught pre-service teachers in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood at Jackson State University for three years. She concurs with Gilbert Highet that,
“A teacher must believe in the value and interest of his subject as a doctor believes in health.� (Gilbert Highet, The Art of Teaching). She is a Southern Belle who moved north and has a passion for teaching and learning.
