The bulls featured in this offering represent almost 50 years of “stacked” genetics and dedication to the maternal traits for which Angus cows are renowned, while also incorporating muscle, performance, and end-product quality. Our objective is to produce low-maintenance, high-quality, sound, and functional bulls that thrive in any environment. The sires included in this sale have been meticulously selected to ensure our mutual success in the cattle business, producing daughters that will uphold the maternal legacy and sons that will attract the attention of producers seeking to enhance power and performance without compromising maternal quality.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Cattle will sell under the suggested Terms and Conditions of the American Angus Association - (http://www.angus.org/Pub/suggested-sale-terms.pdf).
GUARANTEE:
Bulls selling for $4,000 or more are guaranteed against breeding injury for the first breeding season. Breeding season is defined as the 90-day period following the first turnout of the bulls. If a replacement bull is available, he will be provided, or if the buyer prefers, credit toward one bull will be given in the following year’s sale, less salvage value of the injured bull. Please notify John as soon as possible should injury occur and PRIOR to the injured bull being sold for salvage. Replacement bulls are not covered by this guarantee.
LIABILITY:
All persons who attend this sale do so at their own risk, legal or otherwise, for their safety or for the behavior of the animals. The owners, sale management firm, and the sale staff assume no liability for property loss or any accident that may occur.

DELIVERY:
Free delivery by May 1st. We will deduct $100 from the purchase price if picked up sale day or the week of the sale. With spring work & AI and embryo transfer work to be done on our February calving cows in early May, it makes our completing ALL bull deliveries in the 3rd & 4th weeks of April necessary. Buyers cooperation in this regard is greatly appreciated.

The McCurry Angus program is one of the pioneering Angus programs in the world. For over a century, members of this family have been breeding superior Angus cattle, and this marks their 48th Anniversary Production Sale. John’s father, the late Andy McCurry, was a devoted advocate for the Angus breed. The McCurry program traces its roots back to John’s great-great-uncle, Johnson Workman, who was one of the most influential individuals in promoting Aberdeen-Angus cattle in Kansas and the West. His legacy in the Angus breed is remarkable.
Recently, I had the opportunity to observe the McCurry bulls, and they truly are a sight to behold. You’ll find many groups of half- and three-quarter brothers, all bred with the commercial cowherd and cattleman in mind. Remember, at McCurry Angus, customer satisfaction is their top priority.

In 2023, John McCurry was named Young Breeder of the Year by the American Angus Association. His mother, Mary, is a former President of the American Angus Auxiliary and was awarded the Distinguished Woman Award.
