“MAKE & MADE” is a project for B-PD222 Technical and Professional Studies. The assignment is to design stools using the chosen materials. knowing the material and learning the manufacturing process utilizing the knowledge to design our own stool. Since plastic was chosen as the material, I designed a stool that could be injection molded.

KORNER

The name of the stool comes from its distinct 90 degree corners. Inspired by the shape of elbow gland pipelines which are used to assist in turning corners.

KORNER features the seamless integration of round corners that is enriched by its materiality-- Plastic. This materiality of Plastic makes for a lightweight yet sturdy structure, that is further anchored down by the rectangular support.

KORNER aims to accentuate the beauty of pipelines which are usually hidden during construction, bringing it into the spotlight.
