ARCHITECT AND URBAN PLANNER

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism. During my professional path, I gained experience as an intern and as a drafter, and developed important improvements in internal processes.

I was able to create a library of configured materials in V-Ray, which significantly reduced the rendering process time. This optimization resulted in greater efficiency and productivity for the team, allowing more projects to be completed in less time without compromising quality.

Additionally, I developed a template in SketchUp that included tags and other essential configurations, ensuring uniformity and precision in technical drawings. Its implementation enabled the team to maintain a standardized file organization, which improved the overall workflow.

CONTEMPORARY FAMILY RESIDENCE

A study project of house for a family of four.

SITE

This study project features 4,279 square feet of constructed area, maximizing the use of space to create fluid and functional environments.

GOAL

Focusing on functionality and comfort, this house design aims to offer a practical environment for everyday life, such as the breakfast nook for quick meals, while also providing spaces for special occasions, like the dining room with a beautiful buffet for dinners on special dates like Thanksgiving.

The priority was to preserve the family's privacy by zoning the house into social and private areas, ensuring these spaces did not mix during project development. To guarantee the family's privacy, a hall was created to separate the private area from the social area of the house.

KITCHEN INTERIORS

A study project of a kitchen in a house previously featured in this portfolio.

SITE

This study project features 4,279 square feet of constructed area, maximizing the use of space to create fluid and functional environments.

GOAL

The purpose of this project is to create a kitchen design that combines modern styles with classic elements. The open layout floor plan enhances the modern feel of the space. The modern elements include clean lines in the cabinetry and minimal ornamentation. A neutral color palette of white, gray, and green creates a calming and contemporary atmosphere.

In contrast, classic elements add warmth and timeless appeal. For instance, marble countertops present elegance and sophistication, while warm wooden flooring balances the sleekness of the modern design. The cabinetry style, characterized by clean lines and slightly raised panel doors, subtly hints at classic influences, providing a harmonious blend of modern and traditional aesthetics..

MEDICAL CENTER FOR PEOPLE WITH ASD (AUTISM

SPECTRUM DISORDER)

A project developed as my senior research thesis.

Location: Campos dos Goytacazes | Rio de Janeiro

Date:

December 2022

SITE

The Medical Center project is situated in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on a plot of land measuring 34.672,24 m ² . recycling center gatehouse for

GOAL

The purpose of creating a medical center exclusively for individuals with autism is to design this facility based on neuroarchitecture, which involves the study of neuroscience in architecture. The significance of having a medical center specifically for individuals on the autism spectrum (ASD) is justified by the need to centralize activities in one dedicated space. Considering the importance of the physical environment for treatment and its impact on the behavior of individuals with ASD, the project will be developed while considering the effects that the physical space has on the mind of individuals with autism. This stands in contrast to general clinics that prioritize the functionality of their environment for neurotypical individuals –those who do not exhibit traits of autism or other atypical neurological conditions.

In this project, I developed all architectural, creative, and technical aspects, including 3D modeling, except for the rendering of the images, which was not done by me.

VELVET COFFEE

A college project of a cafeteria.

SITE

A 135 m ² cafeteria was developed in the Interior Design subject in conjunction with Project IV, where a mall was designed. The objective was to choose one of the mall's stores to create a commercial space and elaborate the interior design.

GOAL

Unlike typical coffee shops that target professionals or university students looking for a quiet place to work or study, this café has an environment created with a focus on a dynamic and engaging setting. It features strong and striking colors, which can cause agitation and take the focus away from such activities.

The goal is to offer a unique experience where customers can relax, chat, and connect with one another in a stimulating yet comfortable environment. The design elements were chosen to promote a sense of community and enjoyment, making it an ideal spot for social gatherings.
