When registering for Adventure Camp or Adventure University you will have the option to select “Action” or “Theme”. Sportball full day camps are action packed with sports, games, science experiments and magic tricks! Each day will focus on the skills for 1-2 sports. TEEN SUMMER WORKSHOPS DISCOVER DRAWING! Ages 12-17

This summer students have the opportunity to work with arts professional Mercedes Schuster. Students will be introduced to contemporary and traditional drawing practices, explore popular artists, and learn art fundamentals through hands-on studio experience. Tour current exhibitions and build a portfolio.

Working with arts professional Paulina Szczesny, students will be introduced to environmentally responsible stencil printmaking practices. Explore screen printing methods and techniques, and develop a brand suitable to transfer to t-shirts, cards, or reusable bags. Tour current exhibitions and build a portfolio. Students are required to bring appropriate clothing, sunscreen, a snack and their imagination!

GELIPLATE MONO PRINTS Ages 12-17

CREATIVE COMMUNITY CHALLENGE WORKSHOPS Ages 5-12

This week discover 4 full-day workshops designed to inspire, challenge and develop new ideas. Explore your artistic-self, your creative community, and make art projects as unique as you! Each workshop will focus on one of the following mediums: painting, sculpture, printmaking, or collage. All 4 workshops develop drawing abilities using artist quality tools and materials, introducing students to the elements and principles of design in a fun and inclusive environment.

Workshops include Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoor games, physical activities at City Parks, and snacks served daily in a friendly and safe environment.

Campers are required to bring appropriate clothing, sunscreen, lunch, 2 snacks and their imagination!

CREATIVE COMMUNITY SUMMER ART CAMP Ages 5-12 Find your place at the WAG this summer! Investigate where we are, how we got here, and what makes a strong, diverse, and vibrant community full of creativity and artistic expression. Learn art fundamentals through hands-on studio experience, incorporating self-discovery and self-expressive art methods and practices.

Create exciting individual projects every day that include drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed-media and collage. Young artists work together to produce a collaborative piece that features the medium of the week to exhibit for the whole community! Get to know your community with Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoor games, physical activities at the City Parks, and snacks served daily in a fun and safe environment. Three weeks of fun! Create and explore stories, art and more! Introduce your Mini-Maker to the world of art exploration! Learn basic fundamentals through hands-on studio experience. New artists will unleash their imaginations creating multi-media, 2D and 3D art projects. Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoors games, physical activities at the City Parks and snacks served daily in a fun and safe environment. Campers are required to bring appropriate clothing, sunscreen, one snack and their imagination! Registration for this camp is required. Campers are limited to registering for one session per day (morning or afternoon).
