CREATIVE COMMUNITY CHALLENGE WORKSHOPS Ages 5-12

This week discover 4 full-day workshops designed to inspire, challenge and develop new ideas. Explore your artistic-self, your creative community, and make art projects as unique as you! Each workshop will focus on one of the following mediums: painting, sculpture, printmaking, or collage. All 4 workshops develop drawing abilities using artist quality tools and materials, introducing students to the elements and principles of design in a fun and inclusive environment. Workshops include Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoor games, physical activities at City Parks, and snacks served daily in a friendly and safe environment. CREATIVE COMMUNITY SUMMER ART CAMP Ages 5-12 Find your place at the WAG this summer! Investigate where we are, how we got here, and what makes a strong, diverse, and vibrant community full of creativity and artistic expression. Learn art fundamentals through hands-on studio experience, incorporating self-discovery and self-expressive art methods and practices. Create exciting individual projects every day that include drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, mixed-media and collage. Young artists work together to produce a collaborative piece that features the medium of the week to exhibit for the whole community! Get to know your community with Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoor games, physical activities at the City Parks, and snacks served daily in a fun and safe environment. Three weeks of fun! Create and explore stories, art and more! Introduce your Mini-Maker to the world of art exploration! Learn basic fundamentals through hands-on studio experience. New artists will unleash their imaginations creating multi-media, 2D and 3D art projects. Gallery visits to current exhibitions, outdoors games, physical activities at the City Parks and snacks served daily in a fun and safe environment.
