Measures 19" H x 23" W. PROVENANCE: During WWII, Stevenson served aboard the U.S. Navy amphibious transport vessel, USS Haskell APA 117, in the Philippine Islands. Haskell also engaged in operations during the invasion of Okinawa on April 1, 1945. Stevenson was discharged with the rank of Lieutenant.
