English Touring Opera returns to the stage with magic for lovers of all ages.

Handel’s opera Amadigi is one of his finest, though rarely performed. Based on a chivalric romance about three young people imprisoned by a sorceress, Handel’s version is brimming with youthful vigour, humour and tears. The miracle is that Handel, a secretive bachelor, could so vividly depict the delirious highs and savage lows to which love can reduce us all.

The cast is led by soprano Francesca Chiejina, direct from the Royal Opera House.

This new production with ETO’s period orchestra partner, the Old Street Band, is conducted by Jonathan Peter Kenny, directed

Tony’s unmistakeable voice still brims with passion and urgency as it first did all those years ago. Fitting for what will be a big celebration of one of the biggest voices in pop, Tony will perform tracks from across his career both as the voice of Spandau Ballet, and as a solo artist.

From his beginnings at the forefront of the New Romantic movement, Tony earned himself the accolade of being one of pop’s greatest vocalists. Spandau Ballet had numerous chart-topping singles and albums all over the world.

As a solo artist Tony has performed across the world both with his band, swing bands, and orchestras. In 2005 he was awarded a Gold Badge from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters; whilst 2007 saw him win a new legion of fans when he appeared as Billy Flynn in Chicago on the West End stage.

It’s been a busy few years for Jason since his last smash-hit stand up show but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally acclaimed comedian hasn’t changed a bit. ‘Like Me’ is Jason’s latest comic offering set to hit the road, and is sure to be ‘expert observational comedy’ (The Guardian) mixed with ‘comic gold’ (Mail on Sunday).

We will have 22 sanitising stations throughout the building.

A regular cleaning schedule of all hard surfaces with long lasting virucidal products, and fogging for other surfaces will be implemented.

We will be operating a “keep left” system of movement around our building, combined with the requirement to be wearing face coverings at all times.

Clear signage will be placed around the building to help with directions and to remind audiences of our requirements.

We are not operating any in-person Ticket Sales Services so you cannot book in person or collect tickets on arrival.

Tickets will be issued via e-ticket (no charge) or they can be posted in advance (£3.50 charge).
