Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort is one of the most storied resorts along with a design that pays homage to the original Hainanese settlers back in the 19th century. Essence of Lawana aims to convey this storied resort to our esteemed guestes along with providing an update on whats happening around the resort.
An awarding-winning spa deserves a menu that conveys its pride. The concept of this menu was inspired by the architecture of the Anantara Spa at Anantara Lawana. The cover reflects the entrance of the spa and its intricate SinoThai ornaments and furnitures.
Initially what was just a hotel kids club, our team revamped and relaunch Anantara Lawana’s Kids Club as the Little Birds Kids’ Club. As a part of the revamped we introduced many unique characters. However, our main character is Sammi, the red-whiskered bul bul; a bird specie known for competiting in the Koh Samui’s traditional singing bird competition. I lead the team in the design of the new logo, character development, the concept of the bedtime story and the illustrations.
What better way to immerse our little guests in to the spirits of Koh Samui through the art of story telling. “The Adventure of Sammi the Samui Songbird” tells a tale of Sammi travelling and participating in various activities across the island. According to our kids club attendant Sammi has been very popular among our little guests!
Introducing Anantara Lawana’s newly redesigned welcome booklet for our young guests. This booklet contains several activites for our youngest to explore and participate alongside our mascot Sammi the Samui Songbird.
Anantara Vacation Club is a real estate management company and a subsidiary of Minor Hotels, the largest hopitality company in Thailand and one of the largest in the world.
Under Anantara Vacation Club brand I have designed several commercial artworks both for online and for printing. Many of the artworks i designed are incollaboration with other companies such as Bangkok Airways, Index Living Mall, and KrungThai Card.
Inspirations is Anantara’s Vacation Club travel magazine. The main emphasis of this project is to present potential club members with insights on current member’s with Anatara Vacation Club. For this project, I was responsible in designing the entire magazine including the cover in English Chinese, and Thai.
Palette Cafe & Studio is Anantara Lawana’s newest outlet. Palette is meant to be a place where artist are able to display their artworks while admirers of the can sip and savour the local coffee. In this project I lead the way with the creation of Palette’s the brand identity, including the logos, packaging, pattern, color scheme, and down the specific types of fonts used.
Kaya House Bangkokis a new start-up coffee brand based in Bangkok. Kaya House Bangkok is a coffee brand with a traditional Malaysian influence. For this project, I am responsible for designing the logo, bottles, cups, and the overall brand identity.
This logo incorporates the word in a Chinese seal design with doors of the traditional Kopitiam insinuate the oriental background dash Malaysian heritage.
Traditional Malaysian Kopitiam coffee cups are notorious for Hibiscus pattern so it is only have one displayed on the packaging coffee bottles. In contrast to biscus, I decided to adopt the colour as a background colour the original colours of the porcelain traditional Kopitiam shops.

MAYTAS Designs is my current design project on Instagram. I created this series with the intention to present my audiences with weekly arts that conveys a story or an emotion that I want to communicate to my audience. Some stories come in three pieces, some in two, and some by itself.
